I agree. Eli Lilly sucks, and the reps are usually pharmacists who can't make the grade in academic institutions or are too self-absorbed to work in a pharmacy. Awful company with awful reps and second-rate products.

As I was out kicking the shit out of my competitors today- I wonder who would compose such a hate filled email! I sold the hell out of Cymbalta- knowing that my Forest counterpart was probably home beating off at the thought of leaving that post. I knocked my Merck competition in the nads today in front of one of the biggest bone writers in the area! Last but certainly not least- I took the crust of the Novo freaks hair by getting our top endo back in line w/ Humalog. All in a days work when you are with one of the "have's!"

I do work for a big pharma company, but don't go head to head much with Lilly, but I have met many Lilly reps. Awful. Just awful. I haven't met one yet that hasn't been a total geek.

I agree that they lie, cheat their reps out of bonus and have a micromanaging style. A friend of mine works in house and help determine the bonuses. She said that they just move the numbers around and think up rules to limit bonus. What a bunch of loosers!!!!!
