2 weeks notice

once you give your 2weeks notice they pretty much tell you you are all done working and check you out but do you still get paid for 2 more weeks? or does pay and benefits stop the day you check out?

Depends alot on the circumstances surrounding your departure. If you leave and both sides are happy- no problem. If you choose to "burn bridges," "shit in your bed," etc. then things could be vastly different.
