Novartis Rep Sues for overtime

I read a post in Darkened Sample Closet that was my feelings exactly. I understand dinner programs and POA or National Meeting, but the 7:30 AM conference calls and no office time for studying M-CD, Tussionex, Olux, Luxiq, Frova, etc, whatever are bullshit. Lets see what happens with this lawsuit.

this has nothing to do with sales people - this was an office employee who was not a salaried sales person.

It is the same story. This person WAS NOT as salesperson. They were an in-house marketing person who calls docs to get them to use Novartis products.

I suppose you could be on vacation, sick day, or have your own laptop out in the field (I carry mine sometimes), but if not, it doesn't look like you work 40 hours anyway.
