My contract with PDI ended some time ago and I am currently out of job.
Do you have any idea how to get back on track in that industry? 99 % of employers would Not even consider people who are not currently employed. 50 % of Pharma companies are NOT interested to see PDI - contract people.
Are there any ways around to find a job?

This is different from the response I am getting. However, why don't you try networking? Get your resume into the hands of your rep friends that can pass it along to their DM. Also, don't tell them you are currently unemployed. Wait until the interview to explain that your contract recently went down. By then, the interviewer will love you so much they won't care about that detail.

You need a cover job, a friend who owns a business where they will say you are currently working as a sales rep. Or find a good professional sounding sales job, even if it's commission only. That way you will be employed.

BTW in most states if you take a commission only sales job, you can still collect unemploiment unless you are acutually making money.

Be Self employed and say because of the economy it isn't working out. Worked for me. Filled in a six month gap. You can be doing consulting for Physicians offices.
