Probably there are more. I will start

1- Career-management development seminar coming up:
Many deserved this. However it is disheartening to those of us who did and were overlooked that someone that has been here less than 2 years and produced nothing notable is included. Havent you guys gotten enough "referrals" from district 54's old manager who either left us high and dry, had no talent, were two faced...or all3???? When someone like this is pushed ahead for no good reason(other than extreme talent in manipulation) we give up!

2 Ridiculous expectations on expense reports. Lost a $1.00 receipt...oops that has to go to Jerry for approval. Forgot to use the right kind of tape? Nasty note, with copies to 4-5 different people. Spend quarters in the parking meter. Too fucking bad, no receipt. Any company that has someone with that much time on their hands to scrutinize every little comma on 400+expense reports has someone they don't really need.

#3- The company had a 60% profit over last year, but bonuses in both divisions are now less than half of what they were one year ago.
#4- Q3- 6 out of 90 got paid on Encora. Q4-9 out of 90 got paid on Encora. Q1 they did not lower the quota on Encora and I hear it will go up even higher for Q2.

No trust seems to sum it up.
They don't trust us to do the right thing hence the call notes, signatures, etc.
It is hard for us to keep trusting sometimes when things like the very first post first incidence happen. If there is no definitive career ladder, no steps to take or path to follow, then people who don't deserve certain privledges leapfrog over those who have earned them. Usually it is a supreme bullshitter, who then ends up leaving the company, or getting a promotion then showing no ability to perform.
Naturally under this type of system boards like this flourish and the real performers dont wait around to be the next one overlooked.

This is so true...my manager is still relying on her old manager to tell her exactly what to do, all the way down to how to stay at home with your kids. She is scared to make a move without help. And when she was a rep she had one of the lowest MS in the district. So many people are or were more capable of doing her job. Supreme bullshitter like the above post says. Only she hasn't left (hmmm...I wonder why?)

And in terms of trust? This place has never EVER trusted a rep to do their job. They don't know what it is they are doing, but like to think they do. That is why the management here is here. They are yes men. And if you know more then them; you are doomed. Look at the good management who has left.

The wife waits until they come off disability then they fire. I am certain a "case" has been made, call reports pulled, samples lost, phony signatures verified, the manager probably has interviewed new candidates....the clock is ticking and the fuse has been lit. Its only a matter of time

A rep should have 2-3 years minimun with continuous sales over achievement before being put into this program, or even used as a trainer. Stop the back door deals.

People, people, people! Kv will never change. The manager in the above post is a panty waste. Above poster is right...had the lowest MS and still got promoted. Unfortunately, right place at right time. No talent any better than any of those she manages. In fact, some would say most of her subordinates have even more talent and some more years in the industry than she. That's the kv way. Ther-rx is a career killer. If you stay too long it WILL be tough to go to another company that is actually respected in the industry. Everything about firing people who go on disability (or try to) is TRUE. It doesn't matter whether or not docs and nurses like the products if there is no managed care coverage. Get with the program. There ARE many talented people who have left this hell hole and more to leave. KV doesn't care about retaining people. It's cheaper to hire and fire than to pay the large salaries tenured reps have earned.

sorry dude, it's the truth. I've been in the industry for a very long time and know what I'm talking about. When companies see Ther-rx and that you sell vitamins how do you honestly think you compare with someone who has been through a real training program and has sold drugs that you actually have to use and can use a genuine study from which to sell them? Get real. You are the loser because you are still there and actually believe that Ther-rx is a pharmaceutical company

I am not Randy, but one of the people he trained that thought alot of him. I think your comments are totally unfounded and wrong. By the way, I am sure Randy has a life(beutiful, sweet wife and children) and a much better job. Randy could go anywhere he wanted because he was the only Real person with Character at KV.

It is seriously sad. I think the reason why the chosen Sr Reps were promoted was because they were about to get through the revolving door to the other side, and this was the only way they were going to keep them. They were deserving, but the other group of 10 or more didn't get it because they didn't have their resumes on the street. Now if the original chosen did not have theirs on the streets, then everyone would have been promoted at once in July.

As for people being chosen for career advancement opportunities, again, tenure should also be a factor. Someone less than 2 years getting privileges that others are more deserving of???

I just can't figure it out! Anyone??

Sad but true. third interview this week say a prayer for me and maybe i can exit this hell hole with my dignity in tact. much better job by the way. i was pesimistic about ops but they are out there i will close this one hard. have a great week and good selling(that always cracks me up).
