There are very few oncology reps. The work very hard and have huge territories. They are worth every penny.

god..what are you people smoking ???!!!

PMR base is $48k -$52k + $9k quarter at plan - average PMR W2 comp is $85k (top 15% earn in excess of $100k )

TM-surgical reps (Novasure,Mammosite, and Gliasite) all earn around $70k base and another $70k bonus (give or take) (top 15% earn in excess of $200k )

Stuart left Phil?

No!!! they were so good together.

I'm sure Phil is drowning his sorrows at one of the many glory holes in town, slathered in man butter.

What does that mean-refilled? Was it filled and then filled again? When and why did Stuart leave?

I think the guy got blamed by management for the stupid AE who will remain nameless that got a promotion for nothing but kissing ass to DI,JD and others. The PMR takes the hit for the AE who didnt even sell an Imager in the territory but gets a TAM position. But in this case someone must be the scapegoat in CYTYC for someone else's failures. They were either going to push him out or he had to leave.

i wouldn't call the AE stupid...especially considering that in his new position he's hitting numbers now that the former rep was never able to hit...

650/month....or with 2 extra pay periods/year based on a biweekly schedule....300 per pay check. Before taxes.

The compensation promised by cytyc is significantly higher than what you should expect if considering the position, 150-170 for TM's and 100 for PMR's. Management quotes averages that don't really apply to vacant or newly expanded territories. The top 10 percent make awesome money, but as a new rep, it would be hard to hit what they quote. Looking back, I would only consider taking a territory from a top performing rep that just got promoted. Out of my training class, only two people remain at the company at the year and half mark.
