Who is SO IL DM & how stupid his he?

Just read the other thread on how he hire an ex Novartis Rep that was fired earlier this year. Did some research the girl had been caught faking dinner programs with her partner. No one knows how many in total they only looked back about six months and there was several in that period, she was employed there 8 years. The pair would fake the program and have the restaurants give the thousands in gift cert and cases of wine they carried in their trunks and gave out to Doc’s. The speakers were paid and instructed just don’t ask what it was for, hell they even make notes on the computer on how great a program they had! The icing on the cake is the money laundered at the pair’s friend the caterer. Thousands of dollars spent in a couple months with nothing to show for it, wonder were that money went.

Yes the Rep has been banned from some offices and her product removed, you right real popular with pod mates.

The enter community of Reps and Doc’s in that area know all the details yet our District Manager and the Rep in that area have no clue and hired this person, so much for knowing your territory!

Did this idiot DM just believe every thing he was told, did he not ask why this Rep left making good money and 6 months later wants back in or why she did not return to Novartis? To a fairly intelligent person these would have been red flags but I guess we have bigger idiots as Dm’s then most.

Please someone tell me if I am being naïve to think this just one stupid DM and this doesn’t happen that much, please.

I am a newbie and so far not impressed with the caliber of DM's in this company. Turns out my DM has a bad name in the industry. Has burned a lot of bridges. I am hoping he moves to a new position. If not, I am outa here! I am giving it a year!

It does not matter if your manager is a she or a he....my manager is a he. He is terrible and pushy. Everytime he is in the field with me he pisses docs off. I always have to go back and apologize in order to get back in the door. He thinks he is quite the salesman when in fact he is clueless! My whole district is hopeing that he is promoted to another position with the company soon.

Heard the SO IL rep that was shit canned earlier this year has a lawsuit against Novo with 3 lawyers working on it. Names are being named and the rep that was fired by Novartis is spilling the beans. Hope Novo gets what they deserve.

Do a Q/A session with HIM (given he is the Big Shot)and let the nurses and MD's pick his brain on product knowledge and make him explain a few studies. Tell them to get really technical. Sit back and laugh your ass off. It is truly entertaining. After this he will want to avoid that office and they will never have to deal with him again. BL is a horrible rep. That is a good idea, you should tell all your physcians to do that, because he doesn't know nothing...He'll turn it around to make you seem stupid or that it is your fault.

The DBM (MQ) that hired the rep that was fired from Novartis (KS) will get hers. She shitcanned the male rep in SO IL and now has a lawsuit against Novo AND there is talk of bringing a personal lawsuit against her.Some hotshot law firm in Washington, DC that has MUCH experience suing pharma companies is supposed to be involved. Stay tuned. I'll post as I hear.
