I've actually enjoyed the interview process--so I'm not in with some of these posts. Doesn't seem to me the the hiring manager where I am at is green at all; he actually seems really experienced and nothing like the idiot I work for now. I'm hoping I get the job!

Since you said "he" you haven't interviewed with the manager everyone is talking about. You probably interviewed with Tommy who is a class act.

About to interview, can i get an honest, mature, non-cafe response about the company, the products, the training, etc. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

great questions to ask during interview. my opinion is not high, but i would imagine hiring manager would give you a trophy opinion. there are a few people who really are passionate about the company.

Yes, ask manager expectations for success. Follow that it up with "tell me about your history with company, the history of your career and your success. How many times have you made the circle of champs? how many jobs have you had in the last 5 years? how many times have you ranked in the top 10%? what are your call average expectations? can i take an undercover office day? how did you become manager? if you get honest answers, take the job. If she gets pissed or you can tell she is lieing, then make the decision.

if the same chic is hiring there also, she has to be on drugs. i asked if i could come back to interview on a friday afternoon or early monday to see what her work ethic was like and she said there is no way she could do that. i also did not need to waste anymore of my companies time with all the different shannagins i went through. if i were 23 it would be nice to work for that person, but i am in it for the $$$ and i need a manager that will go to work for me too!
if you are needing a job, this may be the one to get your feet wet.

Maybe she's traveling to different cities to do interviews and can't set them up around your schedule?

It is not by chance that all of this is being written....where there's smoke there is usually fire. Maybe some people are stretching the truth but there is a basis for all this - don't kid yourself.
