    Let the games begin:

Which one has a better software platform, support line, and staff?

    Well....C3i does not have software.
Both companies have mediocre phone tech support because this has become a commodity business with lower profit margins...help desk pricing has lowered due to this.
The staff question is dynamic, because both organizations have high turnover.

So what happened to C3I's Siebel partnership? What the heck do they support now? ACT?

Dendrite's marriage with Cegedim is dubious at best. If you are looking for the best SFA/CRM software and services out there, go with StayinFront.

Riddle me this...which SFA/CRM provider does Dendrite's sales force use?

I will give you a hint; it's not any software package in the Dendrite portfolio. It Salesforce.com...LOL!

Not only are they a direct competitor in the same market but it’s like going to your BMW salesman to buy a car and finding out he drives a Mercedes. LOL!!

Dendrite could never keep it’s true talent in house due to the fact that the company does not pay up to industry standards and seldom promotes internal career paths.

Its true downfall from a services standpoint was when the company structure went from team specific groups to a share resource business matrix.

The company lost the pharma company “specialist” per client. The help desk was moved to Virginia and they hired all the AOL rejects from the area.

Excuse me, that isn't true. They hired all the Gateway and Cannon rejects in the area, not AOL rejects :)

I would avoid StayinFront\Windsoft. Their service is great yes, unfortunately, their software is, for lack of a better phrase, utter crap.

Care to be more specific? This doesn't help much.

I am not sure how familiar you are with database software so I am not sure how specific you want me to be. The software itself is very unstable. Quit frankly, it is thrown together and cheap. They are a great low end solution, don't get me wrong. If had a small company and needed a cheap solution I would consider them if that was all I could afford, but that is about it. And a simple look at their client list will tell you that is exactly what they get. Also, the security is almost non-existent. Anyone with even slight database experience can directly manipulate the data locally on the laptop. While it would take some knowledge of the software to actually do much with that, it isn't a risk I would want to take with my data. The software lacks configurability; There are some minor customizations that can be made but nothing like what can be done with the major providers. And lastly, the security on sight itself is a joke. Well, not really a joke per say, there simply isn't any. Which is a problem when your data is stored on sight.

Dendrite... At least their offices are in the states and you don't talk to someone from Indian whenever you have a problem.

C3i is moving to PA. They have given all of their employees 6 months notice and a $2500 stay on bonus until March 31st. Looks like the company is goind down hill. I wonder how all of their clients are going to feel about this.

Hey! Eleven Bucks an Hour is good money for someone who wants to get out of the Scranton Coal Mining industry and start supporting drug reps on the phone.

'Chuck' (and his inflated, unwarranted EGO) was pushed out of C3i about 2 years ago. This is more like a 'Joel' move.
