Ok, so I bought some Frontline Plus from an online retailer (I know, I know, but I wanted to save a buck) and I received it and the product is made in France. I have the NDC (?) number and everything if that would help. But what I really want to know is - is this product counterfeit? And if no, will it work as well??
Merial is a French company, so it's probably not counterfeit. Furthermore Merial sells directly to most OTC outlets. It will work just as poorly as the stuff purchased at your vet.
Merial is an American company based in Georgia but the Frontline Plant is in France so no problem. Oh yeah you must be a really savvy consumer since you knew to cometo the CafePharma board to ask a question! Idiot.
It is Made in France. This site will explain how to tell if its real or counterfeit. http://www.ask-the-vet.com/frontline-plus-dogs.htm
Now now kids be nice to eachother. Here is another way to tell if its real or fake. http://reviews.ebay.com/HOW-TO-SPOT-COUNTERFEIT-FRONTLINE-FLEA-MEDICATION_W0QQugidZ10000000007091697 same as the other thing posted but with some pics to make it easy
