What do you think will happen with Novartis vaccines this year and next? Field of fortune or mire of madness?
Although too difficult to predict, the Sr. Management team is now 100% changed over. The former CEO (Jorge R.), is now back at pharma (COO with Vasella), and their Vaccines President (Rajiv D), left for another company (Raleant Pharma) on Jan 5th. It doesn't seem like things are that great or you would see more stability at top. Time will tell.
I interviewed in Dallas with an Indian who kept talking about "waccines." That's right, vaccine with a dubya. He was bizarre as shit and I left Dallas knowing I wanted no part of that gig. I vas wery, wery happy not to be called back.
The drug has been delayed. It will be a long while now if or when it comes to market. Novartis at it's finest again.
Think again. Novartis has taken this to a whole new level. They are trying to and actually succeeding in making this company the worst to work for. There will be some similiarities to the Merck CDM, but I'm telling you to beware.
total cluster fuck. sanofi has already gobbled up the low hanging fruit in the meningococcal market and Menveo is going to be 2nd to market trying to grab only the incoming 11 year old cohort. good luck with that. If their shitty flu vaccine is any indication, they're screwed. They are consistently unable to sell all their flu doses despite slashing prices to ridiculous levels. Amateur hour.
Novartis and Glaxo reps/employees should be the first to take the swine flu vaccine, that way we will be sure of the side effects of an untested vaccine.
Any updates out there on how the new upper management is doing? Trying to figure out if this is a company I should consider (assuming they get some products). Don't know about leadership, other than Merck, etc. sales management.
Listen Asshole. We will kick Menactra's ass......and Dr. M for that matter. Wait til the end of 2011....>50 % market share nationally!!! I will personally see to it. We have a superior product and we are gaining county by county. Game ON........
Public health will never use this product because you have to reconstitute it. They want something that can be given very quickly at large immunization clinics or school based clinics. Trying to suck every last drop out of Menveo isn't going to cut it. Your best chance is in the private sector with price.....that is it! If you can sell that to a public health nurse, you can sell anything and should get out of the industry to make more $$$$
It is the end of April and still no luck for Novartis. Why are people starting to leave and the managers look like they are suffering from heart and stomach problems?
