Small device company, not a lot of products, but a couple of pretty good ones. Territories are HUGE.

Is this a competitive player in the Endo market? Is the compensation similar to the larger companies? Anyone know how management is?

I am interviewing with them. Base and bonus seem low for med device sales. But is it worth it to gain the experience in device sales? Do they compete directly with Stryker, Bos Sci?

Company has low to standard Med device pay around 50k base depending on exp. ...bonus could add another 40-70 depending on how you do. Car is paid on miles, 401k, expense budget. Good niche products that get a great response from clinicians but you have a good size territory and need to work it. Good company that has had some turnover due to higher paying jobs.... but as a foot step with the low pay it is a great experience and company if you can get in

How do they compare to Olympus (EndoTherapy)?

What are the perceptions of each in the Hospital?

The nurses love the reps. Most products are geared towards them. Niche products, so you do not have to compete with Olympus. But the larger competitors have contracts that will make life difficult. Great starting place to enter the industry.

This sounds like an interesting opportunity. Does anyone have the name of the hiring manager in Ohio?

I currently work for US Endoscopy. Good company but going through major changes with Steenburg leaving. They are a niche company that doesn't really compete with BSC or Olympus. They push bite blocks, retrieval nets, cleaning brushes, injection needles and polyp traps for most of their business.

Good company. Pay is around $90k/year. Big territories. I highly recommend them. Great way to break into the business.
