That's probably just another one of those ridiculous job fairs they use to hold, where they didn't even have an opening, but wanted to harvest "applications" to have on hand in case they needed them. Several that I know applied at one of those, and never heard anything at all from them, yeah or nay.
Additionally, The Rotech difference as they like to call it, just FORCED their "current employees out there to sign a form agreeing to a large pay cut in order to keep their job. You won't see that advertised on the internet!!!!
Their old brutality yet again, forcing someone to sign something or you can't work there. AND after all that, NONE of us from IHP are eligible for hire at Rotech. They made that very clear, you go to work for the competition, don't ever come looking here. YOU WILL NOT BE HIRED!

Yes, use Bill Hewlett and Steve Linehan's and all the other evil-doers full names because , thanks to CafePharma's excellent webmistress, Sarah Palmer, these CafePharma boards come up in routine Google searches such as the searches investors and headhunters perform before investing in , hiring or recruiting people. Print their names.

I hit Google with Hewlett's full name but only got one smack back from this forum. The rest was all about the guy that started Hewlett Packard and his wife and their foundation. Of course, Linehands past is public knowledge and the people at Northstar Health must have not hit the Google on him since he hasn't held a job over 2 years since the early eighties and he has moved from CEO job to CEO job since. He move in, consumes and leaves with a nice package. All except Soporex where he was successful inscrewing over hundreds of people and costing people millions while he departed and is now a new CEO. Wonder for how long before he departs with his package and preys on another idiot board of directors and gets hired again. Hell I know tons of people that could run companies like this and they are all losers. Go figure. By the way how is the new little lady?

    WINMAR HAS COMPETITION!!! Sleep medicine

Riverwood Riverwood patients in Aitkin meet with
Dr. Whitney in Minneapolis via a
    telehealth visit, where communication is
via live interactive video and audio.
During this follow-up exam, a patient is
shown video documentation of their sleep
problems such as pauses in breathing, the
volume of snoring and other symptoms!!! This is from the Aitkin Hospital Newsletter. Is this Whitney guy from Minneapolis whose been snatching up Winmars big accounts??? Who else is out there?

S G just another Soporex people who had a job the day Soporex let everyone go. SG also took RWDs job and played all innocent before she axed more of us. She went to work with this Dr in Minneapolis the next week and started going after Winmar accounts. We have known all along what was going on, this isnt news. These Soporex people all talked out of both sides of their mouths. I have moved on from Fargo, and found happiness with a real company.

Well pardon me for raining on the parade and I'm not saying people with Winmar didn't get screwed but at least you somewhat had a job after the BK filing. Those of us here in KY have no job,no competition for the company that no longer exists and no prospects. So if you happen to see any sunshine in the job area then please forward it on to KY because so far we're still getting the shaft!!!

You are right. Some x-Winmar people have been operating what was Winmar (now SWS) since early last September. Now it looks like they are going to go ahead and buy out what's left of the company from the bankruptcy court. Why didn't we get the same chance to set something up like they did last fall to keep operating the pharmacy after the bankruptcy? Does anyone know how this happened and how they knew to set up their new company that must have happened before the bankruptcy? Sounds like someone got tipped off to me. I know a lot of you lost your jobs at Winmar but all of us lost ours at the pharmacy.

I can tell you how they were tipped off! Enter one Stephen D. Linehan and bag of buddies in Fargo. Also you have to figure in the Murray, KY mentality of some of those in power here in our local office in the pharmacy. Why continue to pay us a decent rate of pay when they could crash the pharmacy wait a couple of years and set up shop somewhere else paying people lower wages. Makes pretty good math but sucks for us. All of this didn't just happen overnight it was thought and carefully planned out over a series of months so that the big wigs made out with the most. The hourly wage earners got ripped off. And some tried to come out looking like heroes that weren't. There is no way they were going to let pharmacy continue to operate or even give us a small chance for a fair option

There are a lot of unanswered questions as to why this was allowed to happen and why the Dallas dumb fucks were resistant to making the situation known to certain individuals/companies that would have had a significant, vested interest in keeping the operation open. It's my understanding that those responsible for the ommissions will have to be answering those questions soon in a format that might not be so pleasant for them. I'm so sorry for them-not!

I feel all warm & fuzzy today. I just got Winmar's fourth motion to continue operations in the mail. Now if their still operating and bringing in a profit? Where the hell are our lost wage's for that last free week we worked?

I think we should all look at this whole situation as a lost cause for all employees. None will ever see one dime from the management of this fucked up company. Having said that, and for what ever its worth, I've heard that the management has been sent a demand letter from the BK folks asking for 20 million for thier failure to do what they should have done and if they don't produce the cash the they are going to have to show up in Federal Court. Although I would prefer to see us come up with some cash, I realize this probably ain't going to happen. However, it would make me feel a little bit better if our friends Lineahan, Sabolik and Smith had the enlightening experience a spending some time where some of the other occupants delighted in violating the boys in ways that only they could understand. These people are pure scum and deserve the worst life has to offer. I can only hope that Linehan's new fiance gets a clear look at what she is about to experience. She must be warned! It just goes to show that a low life cock sucker will do what ever it takes to make his life easier with less responsibility. What a fucking dick

The big question I have is when did they decide to file bankruptcy? I signed a relocation agreement on June the 20th. I heard they had stopped paying vendors before that. I relocated to Murray July the 13th, a month and 7 days before they filed bankruptcy.

When did they retain the lawyer? When did they decide to file for bankruptcy? Did they meet with a Lawyer withing this time frame? Because if they decided this before I relocated to Murray I think I have a good case for a civil suit against them.

If they planned this on or before June 20th ( or even July 13th for that matter) I really need to know.

    Does anyone have any information?

Not to mention all the reports I had to create from the data in Mestamed. Tell me how $23 Million in 2006 and $19 Million + in 2007 from mostly Medicare did not help the company sustain business? On top of that all of the rebates Soporex was supposed to receive from Sepracor for selling Brovana and Xopenex?

Where did all that money go? Linehan dumped a lot of money in to Winmar (big mistake) but that is chump change compared to what we received back from Medicare and Medicaid alone.

Where did all that money go? Hmmmmm

Big seven figures were spent hiring people at very high salaries, apparent unlimited expense accounts and large production budgets. The only problem with this was that these same people produced exactly zero return on any of the money invested in them. Winmar and the pharmacy were both functional and probably profitable although margins were thin. However, after the morons in Dallas sucked out "corporate expenses" there wasn't much left even though the big numbers you quoted are accurate. The all knowing ones made stupid deal after stupid deal trying to create enough hype to recap the company. Unfortunately as we all know it didn't work and by sucking the money out of the two operational units of the company, it only took a little hiccup in Medicare reimbursement to sink the ship. You have to understand as I have that these folks were borderline deranged and lived in la la land. There was so much bullshit being thrown around about us buying this company and that company when all along, unless some one came along with a bunch of cash we were doomed. The company was brutally under capitalized from the beginning because these fools in Dallas were only going to operate on OPM (other peoples money...including mine). So between the cuts, moronic hiring along with absolutley stupid marketing initiatives and spending probably over a million dollars on a pharmacy system that would't perform tasks that at ten thousand dollar system would, we find ourselves where we are today. Most still without jobs and the Dallas folks movin on down the road to new victims.

A lot of people's lives would have been a lo different than what they are today I can tell you that for sure!!!!! The thing that pisses me off the most is that they are getting away with it.They are using the deteriorated ecconomy we are currently in to try and hide their illegal actions.

Looks like the Fargo contingent is going to pick up whats left of Winmar this month via some kind of "auction". The documents on PACER look like they are going to wind up being the only bidder and its a done deal. The puzzling thing is that it appears they are going to pay about 1 million to pick it up. Since they already own the other assets, the must be buying A/R that has for what ever reason accumulated since SWS took over last September. Probably a great deal for them. Too bad other divisions of the company were not able to participate in that type of arrangement back last August.
