I can tell you why!!! They didn't want to miss the opportunity to stick it in our asses and break it off!!! The braintrust was too afraid they might miss a stray dollar they were going to screw us out of!!! And Linehan's political and other are aspirations are in North Dakota. So he'll polish it up and try to look like a hero. And of course he has a new trophy wife/fiance he needs someone to project a nice wholesome image while he's screwing the public!

Wonder if he brought in his Investment Banker friend and convinced her that the relationship was a great deal because he had access to 30 million in cash and capitalization would never be a problem? Let's face it, it's obviously not true but it sure worked on a lot of folks about 3 years ago.

Most likely the ability to con a con is necessary for what Sabolik & Linehan did.

Believe me when I say they had a lot of help. As a defunct investor that lost a chunk in this deal, I and others heard about how our Invesment Banker and his company were so high on Soporex and how Soporex would have access to millions in venture capital so no one need worry about under capitalization for this company. Of course, in my opinion, this was a pure lie. When it came time for that venture money to materialize, the Investment Banking firm was no where to be found and Linehan had gone undercover with his accident injuries, so they say.

I wonder if they are found guilty of wrong doing if we could band together and sue them personally for damages as a "torte". Rather than going after "Soporex". Go after Steve & Rick's personal assets. Has anyone checked into this?

It's been brought up on here before, but who of the former employees has enough money to sue them. They HAVE gotten off scott-free. We won't ever hear another word from them, or about them or we already would have. Big money doesn't have to play by the rules. It's only the little guys who work for them that have to follow all the completely moronic corporate polices over-paid arrogant compliance officers sitting in an office makes up to feel superior!! They all can rot as far as I'm concerned.

Generally if an attorney feels there is enough money involved. Where in this case there damn well should be they will take the case for a percentage which costs nothing up front. And as far as them getting off scot free I don't think the BK has finalized it's all still hanging in limbo.

I think if you dig a little you will find that the answers to your questions on time frames are yes, yes and yes.

Looks like the x-Winmar contingent is going to take everything over from the BK attorneys on July 6th for about 1.1 million. Not a bad deal for them. Too bad the sleep lab business is tanking. Look at the stocks for the ones that you can view...guess Mr. Linehand was wrong after all. I'm sure it's the first time for him

Hi DidIdoThat. Get your facts straight. The doors are locked in Murray and all our supplies and equipment have been sold. Many of us would return to IHP if possible because it was a good place to work. However, we cannot return because it no longer exists. Also, full time jobs at minimum wage are few and far between in this area and unemployment does not last forever. Some of the people we worked with have lost their homes. We are all looking for jobs. Guess what? There are not enough jobs to go around. No person who has a conscience and a desire to provide for his or her family would trade places with us. Would you like to trade places with us? I spoke with many of the Fargo people over the phone on occasion and never had problems with any of them. I wish them all well in what ever they choose to do. As for you, if I pull up my boot strap it will be just before I plant a boot in your back side. Thanks for the worthless advice.

Do any of you guys out there want to see about getting an attorney and going after them?

This statement is true. I know someone that worked on the AHCC Clinical team at pulmodose and was asked by the clinical team to come back. This person was denied by the rotech mgmt team in Murray. They do not want anything do do with anyone from IHP.

  13. You can count me in. However, it is going to take pretty much every one comming together to make the "pot" attractive for a lawyer. If it will cause Stephen D. Linehan and Rick Sabolik and extra ounce of misery I am all for it.

The BK Trustee gave Linehan, Sabolik, Smith and the outside directors a June 30 deadline to produce 20 million dollars for what I would interpret as restitution for mismanagement of the company. This apparently didn't happen so in my humble opinion, I would expect the Trustee to continue to pursue them as a group and possibly as individuals so this isn't over yet by a long shot.

Might wanna try outside of the Murray/Paducah area. I already tried to talk to a lawyer and none of them would even call me back because the business was protected by the Bankruptcy.

If those guys wouldnt produce $20 Million to the BK lawyers they are just gonna laugh at some group of Kentuckians/Floridian trying to get a settlement out of them.

    It's a lost cause really.

I think the "big shot's" ass is in a jam and he's looking for help. Good luck. Maybe his new company will accomodate its new CEO and take care of the problem. If you go by days yesterday was the one year aniversary of the collapse of Soporex and also the receipt of our now infamous email letting us all know we had lost our jobs and wishing us the best life has to offer. Am I still bitter? You bet. I just hope the old "what goes around comes around" holds true for those fine folks in Dallas that sucked the company dry, made ignorant business decisons and screwed up a lot of lives in the processs. Oh and by the way lets all wish them the best life has to offer.

Should we be getting calls? What are they doing? Calling and threatening with civil suits because of Slander and libel because some people are telling the truth?

I wouldn't doubt it one bit.

The good point is if they call and threaten to sue us what the hell are they gonna get? If they'd like to take part of my bills they can have those other than that I don't have a damn thing. It's been over a year and still I have no permanent full time job and a lot of the others are in the same boat.

Does anybody know who is operating business at our IHP building in Murray? I have driven by and there are a lot of cars in the parking lot with a few chairs set up outside in front of the entrance doors to the billing department. Does anyone know anything about that? Has a company rented the space? Does it have anything to do with Bill Hewlett? I have asked a lot of people and nobody knows anything about what type of business is operating there.
