Does anyone know what's going on with that lawsuit? I called and emailed the law office representing us but they never got back to me. I want my pound of flesh before Pfizer goes under!

Oh please, we are on paper signatures for years, if we do a dinner program we hardly can claim overtime hours. Give me a break, I agree that this company is a pathetic piece of shit but we all rode the gravy train along with them.

I jumped off the SS Pfizer sinking ship a few years ago and I also signed up for that class action lawsuit. I haven't heard anything does anyone know what is going on with it? I'd like to squeeze Pfizer for a few more bucks before you losers run it into the ground.

It pretty much died down, from what I understand.

Some of the people who signed up for it were just trying to take revenge on Pfizer for letting them go. It was pretty obvious that they were disgruntled employees.

Besides, when most of you people work from 10am to 1am....how in the world can you sue for overtime????

Not all of us fudged out time.
Many of us worked in the field, as required by management, from 8-5 and then went home to do required computer work. My managers always told us to never do expense reports, call reports or any other administrative work in our office. This work was to be done after field hours (8am to 5pm) Many times we worked nights doing programs and weekends with no pay.

This suit has been revitalized and it's no joke. Norvartis reps won an overtime suit, so the suit is well and alive.

I don't know about you, but I don't work for free. Pfizer needs to pay for the overtime work it's reps do, in mine and many others opinion.

The employment contract you signed says you are paid to work 40 hrs/week. Sales management has said many times that we should not take time out of the field to do certain things. I just ignore that. They don't make any rules nor do they have any authority to tell me when I should be working.....and this is what Pfizer's defense will be. Nobody with the power to do so has ever told you work more than you're paid to work.

Let's see, that would be that would be a 13 hour work day and I can assure you that in the early Lipitor days, there were many days that I worked close to that number of hours. You might have had those hours,. but I didn't. Those of us who launched took it as a personal goal to kick Zocor's butt and we did a good job of it. What was our reward? A lousy bonus for making billion s of dollars in sales for Pfizer with Lipitor. It wasn't the little people out there working long days to make it number one.

    You got a paycheck, right?

You were paid to work 40 hrs/week. That's what you should have done. Working more than that was stupid on your part, and nobody owes you more money.

That's the difference between you and me. I wanted to make Lipitor the product success it turned out to be. Working eight hours a day in a launch like Lipitor would not have made it the success it was. Am I happy that I worked long days and never got paid extra, yes. That is the reason I made a career of this industry. It doesn't make any difference what kind of sales you're in, your chances of being a success increases when you put in those long days. It wasn't stupid on my part, because I have the personal satisfaction of knowing that I was part of the Lipitor revolution. As far as being paid, yeah, i was paid, but you see the reason I signed up for that lawsuit is because of the other hard working representatives who tried to do a good job and were dismissed by Pfizer and replaced with someone who thinks like YOU.

Working is a state of mind - if you were thinking about work, you were working on your strategies - right ? Now some people are about a million times more productive just thinking about what will be the most important ways to better this company. Many of them were "lowly" sales reps. Many of the imbeciles occupy space in HQ.
Therefore, I conclude that this vile and corrupt piece of shit called Fuckster owes me an interminable amount of money.
I will make sure that this company goes down !
    There....I said it !

You couldn't be more full of shit if you tried....you're participating in the lawsuit because you think it's a way you might be able to get some money. Period.

No one at Pfizer who has the authority to do so made you work extra hours. You did it because you weren't capable of getting your job done effectively during normal business hours (despite what you say).
