Any info on Gary Stark?

Heard he was at USS Tyco a few years ago, how did he handle his sales teams?

 

He was hated. Only lasted as a manager a short time and then brought in house for rehab as they did in those situations and failed at that. Last I heard, he was working as a pharma rep. That should tell you something. Why do you ask?

 

True that! Not well liked at all! Horrible manager, did not succeed in his in-house stint.

 

Very true, the reps who worked for him hated him, and the inside people who worked for him could not stand him, my advise if you know he is going to be your manager, look for another job now.

 

I want to know who the genius is that hired him? Did they not check him out before?

 

DB hired him for the inhouse position, it was always viewed as the start of DBs downfall at USS Tyco. Gary was a terrible Manager, and the people who worked for him did not respect him. The sales people partied when he left to go inhouse , and the In house people shook their heads in disbelief that such an terrible manager was instead of being fired being promoted. Truly an old US Surgical move. Why are we asking about Gary? Is he back in the device industry?

 

You are gonna love this......Larson hired him as an RBD at Salient Surgical!

Can you you believe it?! Says quite a bit about Larson and Salient now doesn't it? God help those poor people that have to work for him.

 

Wow, Larson was always kind of dumb. I guess he didn't talk to anyone who worked with Gary. Salient sounds like a disaster. Gary was one of the Worst managers to ever hold a position at USS Tyco. His inhouse days were even worse, he was hated by those who worked for him.

 

Wow, Gary Stark a name of the past that today is still made fun of at Covidien formerly USS. What a complete jerk. I just remember some of the people who worked for him telling me what a disaster he was. He managed to destroy relations with his reps, then get "promoted" by that genius DB and Gary quickly destroyed what worked well in house. Larson was always looked at as a joke at Covidien, so I am not suprised. The Sales force at Cov Devices is much different today, more professional than these two were. The inhouse group still sufferes from the Stark stench, but time heals most wounds.

Salient sounds like a disaster.

 

very very true. The man had no respect from anyone , and the ones who worked for him would talk about him as if he was the worst person to ever work for. I am shocked Larson did not reach out to some of the people who used to have to deal with Garys garbage. As poor a manager as they come.

 

I really can't believe it. What is wrong with Larson? Gary Stark was a terrible manager. I don't know of one person who worked for Stark that liked him and that was the field and in corporate(where I know they disliked him even more).

It gets worse, Hironimus is the VP of sales at Salient. You would think that he would have stopped Larson from hiring. Oh well, Salient can have them all.......

 

That explains it, Hironimus who was a joke at Covidien was one of the very few allies of Stark. Sounds like a real cluster at Salient. Makes perfect sense, hire someone who failed as an RM and in house directors position, was hated by anyone who ever had to report to him, hire this person to lead a sales team. Heard stories about what a bad company that was , must be horrible.

 

I think Gary wrote the book on how to de-motivate. He was also really good at ass-kissing (DB). Horrible manager is not doing him justice. He was much, much worse. I am at a loss for words as to how bad he was as a manager. I think I am going to be sick...I saw this post and actually threw up in my mouth.

I dont know this guy and I dont work for this compay but it looks like the same fuckhead posting over and over again about this guy and trying to smear his name. Its like they are trying to draw attention to the shitbag company Salient.
