Details Hospital Sales Position

    What is the overall view of this new division with forest? Since this will be a launch product what do you think the average payout would be if you exceed your goals? Also, how does the company determine the pay scale for someone coming in from the outside? Would you recommend this position to someone with current hospital experience?

    Second have you had you phone screen?
    Third have you completed the online assessment?
    And lastly are you schedule for a F2F, if so then we can talk about pay.

    Does not matter... Forest realigned and they are pulling from their PC and LTC reps for these great positions.

    Um, no see you have it backwards, I dont invest time in childish bullshit before I find out in written format what the fucking pay scale is, see some of us have experience, value and relationships and we demand as any tenured sales professional should, pay and benefit info up front and always a FIRST PRIORITY BEFORE AN AMATEUR MICKEY MOUSE PROCESS BEGINS.

    Carolinas has been filled except for Institutional position (Duke/UNC). Two candidates remain. If you arent one of them, its too late at this point.

    You need to contact a recruiter that is acutally working with Forest to fill these positions. I can't believe that someone is so incapable of networking to find out who the recruiters are that are involved. Doesn't say much about how much probing someone is capable of doing to get information. Contact- Steve Svec. 847-359-8298 for info. He is one of the recruiters out of Illinois. He may be able to help you. Next, I would encourage you to do more legwork than work with just one recruiter in the future.

    The recruiters who got the work orders to fill the hospital positions were dropped by forest and pulled off the expansion, this is why there is so much bullshit and bad info floating around. Forest overshot what they thought this would be and some of these shady amateur recruiting house's posted hundreds of jobs on their websites and network sites, medreps.com etc. and fucked over a shitload of reps with job postings and submissions. Recruiters are the worst thing that ever happened to the pharma industry, they are worse than reps, minus the experience with the customer, a really bad combination when you throw in their arrogant attitudes and mis conception that they are they "power player" in your career, recruiters are nothing more than leaches who think they can talk the talk but in reality they are morons who are in way over there heads and have no first line experience in the field but think they can "dissect" a resume. For every qualified good recruiter there are 1000 really bad one's.....similar to reps.

    Sorry fella, you don't know what your talking about. I went through a recruiter and interviewed for a position. The bad info. floating around is from people like you. Medreps. is not an individual recruiter, its a job info. site. Its not that hard to find out what individual recruiters are working on open pharma position, unless you are not in the industry.

    To the dumbshit above, medreps is individual recruiters, and there are a few on there posting forest openings. You are clueless. These hospital jobs were a blunder fuck and recruiters thought they had the contract and forest reneged of all of them after they posted the openings, hundreds of them across the nation. Listen up Fella, get a concept before u open your pie shoot. The bad info is real and it is an embarrassment for both forest and the sucker recruiters who were promised the contracts and contacted and interviewed hundreds of candidates only for forest to come in at the end and suspend activity. I know of 3 firms that pulled over 250 jobs regarding the forest expansion. Talk about clusterfuck!! Medreps.com for the RECORD are individual recruiters, your resume goes directly to them. Wow are you dumb.

    Well said, I am not with FRX, but out of work and searching hard everyday. I have had the worst experience with recruiters over the last year. I have made the mistake of sending my resume to them only to find the job posted by the company one week later on every career website known to man kind.

    I love how some will call and you for an hour evaluate and criticize your career choices and life. Hanging up the phone, I feel like a fool.

    Then I stop and realize, they are some college drop out that claims to have the direct hiring connection. How busy can they be to chat on the phone for an hour? A person with phone line. No more-no less.

    Recruiters are no longer needed except for a few very select technical positions related to QA and engineering. They are a thing of the past. Just like pharma. I have been on 2 interviews arranged by recruiters. When it comes down to me and the person without the recruiter fee of 12k, its the other person.

    I am amazed that many are still hanging in there and some displaced older RDs and VPs are giving it a whirl.

    MedReps is little more than an opportunity to send an email to a stranger. They are submitting positions that are on every company job board and web-site across the nation.
    Think about it. A job submitted by the company online gets 1,500 responses. 10% qualify = 150. They cherry pick the top 10% = 15 and choose half to interview f2f = 7+, now the odds are 7:1 and 2 of the 7 are in-house or know the hiring manager personally. Let's just say not good odds. Really, what do you need a recruiter for? It is no longer 1985.
