...that the former Earl Davie building (named after one of their founders during Zymo's heyday) is being considered as a new campus for Dendreon. So much for Zymo being the next Genentech ! BwaHaHaHaHaHa !

What's so pathetic was that the abject meanness of the Zymo culture was not because the stakes were so high and people competitive, but that the stakes were so LOW. There was little honest work to do, and self-absorbed, greedy management, so people just played politics all day and cannibilized each other. It was a very insular culture where mistreatment of others was protected, even encouraged by management. But, the Karma does come around, as they people now have to look for work...and we remember them and shut them out !

I agree, completely. Some are now knocking our doors looking for work. What makes them think that we forgot they are the unethical bunch?

They never think they are unethical. They think they are superior, which explains why they are doing so well...

    From the Seattletimes:

Dendreon also said it is moving its research labs to the Earl Davie Building on Eastlake Avenue East in South Lake Union, subleasing 97,000 square feet from another biotech, ZymoGenetics.

The Davie building lease is for 7 ½ years, the Russell Center lease for 5 ½ years with an option to renew for three more, Dendreon said. The company said it expected to pay a total of about $50 million in rent during the leases' initial terms.

What remains of Zymo is going down....to the shell of a steamplant that once was... ROFL LFMAO ...bye bye remaining snota$$ Zymo-ites...how does it feel?? chuckle snort LMFAO :D

It's just a matter of time when Dendreon will occupy the steam plant building after BMS has decided that the steam plant is too big and cozy for a handful of Zymo idiots. A sad story a for the once Seattle biotech flagship.

When Reco got approved a few years ago, Zymo predicted that by 2011, they will dominate the world Thrombin market. Well, I suppose they still have until December before 2011 ends...

Reco, tongue in cheek by old timers as "Reeko", probably needs to be rebranded with a different name, so that BMS can make the product its own. Since Zymo has lost (laid) off most of its Reco intellectual talent and has been bought out, BMS needs to be rebrand the product, totally close the Seattle facility, and market it as its own. IMHO
