As for FDA approved products? Keep hanging your hat on that one because based on recentbio-availability studies Testopel is misrepresenting their flagship.

You might want to get on board with one of the "Compounders" they currently own about 90% of the market and growing.

BTW, Paul Blackhead came to town to wine and dine me, what an asshole! A $30 bottle of wine gets nothing.

 

They own 90% Market of docs that don't bill insurance, aka witch doctors. As far as a $30 dollar bottle of wine, based on your responses he over paid. I would have spent the $30 bucks on your spouse because if she is with you we know she comes cheap.

 

now, now, now, it appears that Slate is not quite on the up and up. These guys need to get a grip, it won't ever be a blockbuster company, but hey, can't blame them for trying. What I find a serious flaw is wanting one sales rep to work their ars off instead of doing the right thing and hiring two. In all reality though, this drug is a bust.............

 

I went though a full interview process, met everyone who runs this company. Got a call before I ever made it back home from my interview informing me that they are preparing me a written offer..... Then I was told I can't have this job unless they speak to my manager because "manager's words will be taken more seriously than what your co-workers said about you which was only great things".
I guess the only smart thing I did was not too give my 2 week notice when I got back home from this interview.
I was excited about this position especially because they claimed to be so very different from big pharma.....ummmm, not so much.

 

Got a grip...it's around your territory and the best part is you will never see it coming. Sweet dreams.

 

I love it when DUMBASSES post claims like this, ESPECIALLY when it is a known FACT that it's IMPOSSIBLE for them to know either way! Sweet dreams SON...

 

Something similar happened to me, I hate the boss I have now, it's ridiculous to want to speak to my manager. I heard one of these guys worked for Auxillium and either got the boot or was chased out somehow, whether quit for fired, anyway it wasn't a good thing, and now they want to talk to your manager? What a bunch of hypocrites! From what I've heard, these sales people work 24/7 and almost 24 hrs a day AND work more than one state with a blockbuster? product??? I believe things happen for a reason, and the vibe I got was RUN LIKE HELL!!!

 

Really? You can pretty much get a feeling here......I don't need to be hit up along side the head to know if it's a good drug or not and how it's being accepted in the community.

 

Um, docs can easily claim that they have one or two exceptions that are on Testopel when in reality they've switched ALL of their injection over and quite a bit who have failed on gels or are tired of the hassle. None of the reps will ever know that for sure why they're losing business because testopel isn't tracked at all.

 

As a Testopel patient, I was interested to read the comments. I called Slate with a question that they have never bothered to respond to. I am a new low T patient, and basically my DR did not give me a choice. I discussed Androgel, Testim, Striant, and a patch with him but he dismissed them as being too much trouble and (in the case of Testim) very smelly. Procedure was done yesterday so am looking forward to the results ... but I am an informed patient asking for options and was told this was the way to go.

 

What was the question they wouldn't answer?

 

Part of my evaluation of options was cost, of course. My call to Slate was to see whether or how much I would need to fight my insurance company to have Testopel covered. I already knew that Androgel and Testim were Tier 2 in my plan. I had called to ask what their experience had been and whether this large national insurer would consider it to be experimental. You'd think this would be an easy one to answer.

 

Not so easy since every insurance provider has very specific plans for different employers. Your physicians office can run a benefit investigation with a form that Slate provides them.

 

As it turned out, it was covered 100%. I just thought the other T-delivery RX reps would find it interesting the way it was presented to me as a patient. He basically blew off anything other than Testopel. If that happened with my (non-RX) products, I would be concerned. So far no effects one way or the other with me (after 3 weeks with 8 pellets).

 

He should give you choices, but if he has seen great results with Testopel and he is guaranteed the fact that by using Testopel he knows you are 100% compliant in using your medication. Gel users skip days frequently and going in to receive an injection every two to three weeks is tedious and time consuming.

 

Russman. Just curious if you have had any effects since your last post which was a couple weeks ago?

 

He makes a few bucks on the pellets, and makes nothing on the gel. everything else being equal, why should he not use the pellets?

 

Yes, I did see some benefits, it just took a few weeks.

Anazao Health just clipped Slate for another account in Rochester, NY. It's really quite easy to do, drop the bottom out of the price and the account bills under Testopel J-code.
