They are owned by Abercrombie and Fitch, total teeny bopper clothing line.... stay away. 15 gets you 20!

Agreed. There are some tough juvenile laws in many states.

    I'd find something else.

I am not talking about the clothing store! It is a ostomy/wound care company. Thanks for the info on the clothing store though. I have a child who will soon be into the sizes they sell there. I won't allow it!

Hollister is a fantastic company. I interviewed with them about two months ago and received an offer but had to turn it down due to the potential income level that I was looking for. It was a difficult decision since the management and overall personality of the company is one that would be certainly enjoyable to have as an employer. What position are you interviewing for?

The postition is for ostomy/wound care. I have heard lots of great things about this company. What $ amount did they offer you that you had to turn it down?

I was in there a few weeks ago with my 15 year old daughter. I wouldn't let her leave me alone because I didn't want to be pointed out as a middle aged perv...I may be, but that is beside the point.

They offered me $70,000 base to make at plan between $110,000 and $120,000. It was a good package but it wasnt exactly the product set I was looking for and I am looking for about $20,000 - $30,000 more in comp. What are you looking for?

I am looking for just about what you were offered. Wish it had been me a couple of months ago. Being in and out of hospitals as much as I am now, I have heard so many good things about the company. I am looking for a company that I believe in, and one that I will stay with until retirement, which is a long time away. Also a company that I believe in the product line. Did you find a company that suits you as of yet?

Still looking. Hollister would have been great to stay with until retirement; there is a ton of opportunity there to move up within the company. I would say go after it if given the chance. If you have any questions in regards to the interview process, let me know and I can help.

Thanks for the info, and thanks for offering to help with the interview process. I am just waiting for now to see if they felt I was a good fit for their company. Hopefully they will call, one way or the other.

Super company to work for. Lots of opportunity to move up, as you progress through your career. Assuming your the right person.

Best company I've worked for anyway.

I have information indicating a Hollister preferred distributor has purchased Hollister uro trays from a source other than Hollister. Violation of supply chain and other agreements. I need to do what is right. Who do I send the documents to?

Hollister is such a fantastic company to work for ... and I say that coming from a past medical company that was not like that.

They value their employees, truly care about the services/products that affect patients life's ... certainly not your typical medical company.

Privately owned, so they do what is right 'as a company' ... not what is pressured by stock holders. It is truly a pleasure to work for them.

    Providence El Paso TX alert

Rumor to Providence System Texas Hollister Ostomy Sales Representative, get going.
Entire hospital system is switching to convatec ostomy as they believe their gpo contract dictates this for compliance which is very false. certainly the convatec people know this is false but they are trying to get order in
before you know what is happening. they are at this vry moment going to order the convatec wafer you do not cut but has all these different size of starter openings so will need many sizes instead of just a couple.

Re: Providence El Paso TX alert

Is this Providence Sierra system in el Paso? That is going to kill but I doubt that convatec will be able to keep this business. Once the clinicians see what a pain it is to have or need 4 different size of wafers, they will go back to Hollister that is if they make it that far. Wouldn't they first have a trial? How could the materials people be so stupid. it is a dual source contract.
Do not know the Hollister rep there but someone needs to pass this on to hollister corporate.

This was a good place...it is not now. Leadership is a joke and no new products.
