LOL! PPS patient information tells them NOT to put cylinders on the seat or use a seatbelt, but place them on the floor! Management does NOT know there own policies, applicable laws and regulations, let alone the reasons behind them! No wonder everything they touch turns to RED INK!!!LOL

Option 3: get fired for pointing this out to management while refusing to transport tanks. we're screwed either way. techs are written up for improper storage, delivery etc..pcc's, "shrug", oops, sorry but you have to do what we say

Just another perfect example of how management thinks in this company! Idiots that rule by intimidation and threatening their employees. Glad I am out of there, it was no way to live and quaility of life for employees and patients they service is pathetic

obviously can't divulge my centers location but...........after showing my dm this thread we no longer have to transport o2! our tech is on board as well which helps. our dm decided on his own without consulting management. at least we have one person at this company who is rational. we'll see how long it lasts.

I was fired last week when I told my OM about this. Know and realize what can happen if you refuse

this was brought up years ago. management knows the guidelines for transporting o2 and will never admit this is illegal. unwritten policy, terminate ANY employee that questions the legality.

Management are all acting like renegades and outlaws trying to keep this lame company afloat! They don't care at all for employees or the patients. You are right anyone who questions their actions is terminated immediately by asking them to resign! Stay away from this company!

Russ P and his boss don't even live near headquarters. They wake up in their pajamas (thongs) and pretend to do work from home. Very Funny.

On another note, PCC's, please retest every patient on cpap for the 5th time! WE NEED 02!!!!!!!!!

I always hated transporting oxygen tanks in my car (which wasn't very big) while at PPS. When I stated I was uncomfortable doing so, management asked why and acted puzzled that I would question doing such a thing. Half the time techs could do the work and transport tanks but refused because they were "too busy". Techs work hard, but our region was extremely slow so one hospital d/c a day (if that) isn't asking too much. Can't believe they still ask reps to carry tanks in their person vehicles. How do they get away with that?
