Eisai is the worst. Former Ligand rep who got purchased in and that place is a nightmare!

ex-oncology rep now in medical sales. I was with Novartis oncology. Novartis has become very micromanaged and I'm guessing it's gotten like that with most places. Medical is much more "hands off" and people let you do your job.

ProStrakan. It's not really a company though. Management has their heads way up their asses.

Eisai hands down. I went over in the MGI purchase and left a year ago and that place is a trainwreck.

ProStrakan. They have god awful managed care coverage. They're currently on their 4th sales director in just over 3 years and he's a disaster (can't spell and has no balls among other things). Unrealistic expectations and just a shithole of a place to work in general.

SANOFI is the leader in this category. The company that is that largest is always the worst, they have to be, it is a rule. Pfizer was , Merck was before them.

Sorry guys, but the worst is Eisai! Being run by primary care idiots. Best folks have already left. A few good ones but most now are PC "promotes" who "think" they know oncology!

hands down...SANOFI-AVENTIS. used to work there...no place like it. it's literally abusive. they hire and keep jerry sandusky types (sneaks, manipulators, power hungry).

As the votes continue to roll in, I have a somewhat related question: Who would you consider to be the best Oncology company out there today? I'm also really curious about what makes them the best.

Eisai without a doubt…but it’s sort of unfair since it barely qualifies as an ‘oncology company’…

We are 2weeksin to 2013 and Eisai has clinched this years award as well. In the last 14 days they have accomplished:

    1. Killed OS in Breast Cancer (301 Trial)

    2. Killed Pipeline in Oncology (Ovarian Drug shit bed in 2 trials)

    3. Lost 3 Oncology sales representatives.

    4. OB tells West Region of Oncology that he will be working all weekend to evaluate the work load alignment for territories

    5. Told DM's that they are not to back fill open territories in Oncology, but not to mention that to the sales force.

I for one can not wait until Ground Hog day. By then.....they will have burned down the home office building.
