The financiers saw huge liability coming from the failed 'Cage Rage #2' scam. So they had a talk and decided to move patents/assets to another company. So if you tried suing Nuvasive now you wouldn't even get their doormat. Liquidation almost complete. The financiers never lose...and have the means to avoid liability. Cage Rage #3..........3-5 years out.
I recently left NUVA and had a great run. There is a sense of desperation within the company that started when we missed earning a few quarters ago. Growth has basically stopped due to their inability to 'involve' every spine surgeon in a consulting/ development deal. There is huge pressure on sales to increase revenue. Pushing surgeons to XLIF at 4/5 has caused many complications and the surgeons are not happy. Alex has lost all credibility with the investment community. They will not be in business in 5 years.

This sucks. Lot's of good people are leaving. Several have gone to Medtronic and other co's. Sales management is a big weakness and they are forcing us to sell for short term gains. It is counter productive and many good rep's are going to the competition. It is an embarassing cluster f right now. We are screwed.
He made them money. How? He created a business which allowed an IPO to be created to pull hundreds of millions of dollars into hands which was handed out to those in the clique. He disabled thousands who will now no longer be in the work force opening up their old jobs to someone else. Thus he created jobs in America indirectly as well. Those he disabled will now not make it to 65 (lucky if they make it 5 years) and won't be collecting their Social Security. He saved the Federal Government money. 3/4th's of all the old people who got XLIF are all dead. The younger ones have complications/damage and they won't make it much longer. Alex did what everyone wanted. This is a cyclic process. There will be a Cage Rage #3 in a few years and the process will repeat. Alex will still be in the money. China's going to have a serious Degenerative Disc Disease problem in a few years after all those dioxins and toxins do their thing from a Polluted China. Alex will be in there making Billions...instead of Millions.
