You can also do really, really well by never joining Teleflex in the first place. Don't gloss over the main points: 1) cheap company/low pay, 2) frequent backorders, 3) frequent recalls, 4) no long-term vision beyond pure play medical, 5) very high employee turnover and 6) questionable leadership.

Another resignation last week at Teleflex Medical Canada. Every other week brings yet another resignation. Exact same reason as all the others for this latest resignation, Bill Reynolds! There are several sales reps (and perhaps even a manager or two) searching for new jobs right now so, maybe it will take a few more resignations before someone finally wakes up in Limerick? Local leadership is a complete joke.

I agree that it is hard to imagine why Bill Reynolds is still employed by Teleflex Medical? There is no doubt that he is a first class idiot but seriously, he isn't the sole cause of all the problems at TFX. David Mills needs to be held responsible for his gross mismanagement of this company. Sure, he's only a year or two away from retirement but, he is running this once great company right into the ground. Time to say good riddance and package him off once and for all. If Limerick/RTP don't act soon, you can expect another six to ten resignations inside of twelve months, guaranteed.

Do u people actually think senior execs @ tfx look at this board and make decisions based on little more than gossip? Time for a realty check, they don't care about this ridiculous gossip site, that's why complete stooges like Bill Reynolds and David Mills remain employed. Yes, we all agree that Reynolds, Mills are total idiots. This is not a tier one med device company folks, hate to disappoint all of you that actually care about this company. shit company = shit management.

Bye Bye Bill. Speaking on behalf of every TFX Canada employee that put up with complete bullshit from Bill for way to long thanks to senior managment in RTP for finally listening to us -we celebrated when we heard they finally threw him out. Bill, what goes around comes around, ain't that a bitch? We have no idea why they kept David but, we won't complain. RTP probably too cheap to pay his severance?

    Re: Teleflex Medical Canada

Are you suggesting RTP made their decision to fire Bill based on utter nonsense posted on this website? Seriously, that's a sad commentary on TFX. Really sad! You actually believe that Jim Stevens isn't the anonymous author of more than half of these posts, come on, wake up. He has been working to oust Bill for years.

Whatever...the bottom line is they did the right thing and finally got rid of Bill Reynolds. Strange how people here are so happy, morale is noticeably improved around our building and we don't have to cover our tracks with bullshit email anymore. Good riddance Bill, you treated people like shit for years, enjoy unemployment

I work for Teleflex, and I can tell you the their main concern is the dollar NOT quality. The Mt. Holly plant alone is approaching the one million dollar mark in back order for the A.S.K. product line.

Amen! Getting rid of Bill has put Teleflex Canada on the path to pure job satisfaction....the fact that they finally work up and fired Bizot was a much needed, overdue bonus!

All good points for sure but we are still scratching our heads wondering why RTP decided to keep Mills around as the office manager?

    Re: Teleflex Medical Canada

We all witnessed the silly, petty and utterly stupid Bill Reynolds - James Stevens conflict for years at Teleflex. What a sad distracting spectacle. In spite recent mgm't changes there is still no good reason to join this terrible company..

I really hope you are no longer a member of the TFX team because it is people like you and your bad attitude that the new management team is trying to get rid of. And if you are still an employee please post your resume and get another job. Why would you want to stay with a company that is so terrible in your eyes? My guess would be you have interviewed with other companies and no one wants you and your negative attitude! There is also a reason why you are not in management and that's because you obviously don't understand you can't just fire someone there is a procedure that needs to be followed. I would like to see your HR file and see if the process is underway, if it's not it should be. Why don't you request a meeting with someone at RTP and see how much they care instead of being a coward on this message board.

Hey genius, here's a news flash, you don't have to follow a given procedure to fire anyone in corporate America, in fact you really don't even need a reason. It simply comes down to how much you have to pay to make someone go away. Funny that you have posted anonymously after telling people to stop being cowards. You must be in senior management at TFX....idiot

Curious why you think Teleflex is a good place to work? You seem upbeat about it but, every other post suggests there is a major problem? I am interested in surgical so, any balanced information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Teleflex is great because you can fly way below the radar and focus exclusively on selling. I work in the surgical division so management oversight is non existent at the moment. Bill couldn't keep anything straight for more than ten seconds so I just worked around him, set my own prices and called David whenever I needed to get anything important done quickly. Whenever Bill got mad I would just say "David approved it already" and Bill ran away with his tail between his legs. I must say that it was very disappointing when Rob quit, he was a great guy, a very smart strategic thinker that should have been the next GM. Anyways, no one pays much attention to us so we just sell, do what we want and the pay is good to!

Can anyone tell me about the Dialysis side? How are they doing? What is the salary and bonus structure like? Thanks in advance.

Have you read this entire post about Teleflex Medical? If not then do so immediately. If you are desperate for work consider taking a job at Teleflex. Otherwise don't even consider it.

Who's running the show over there in marketing? Do they have a clue?
