How are their products compared to other Biologics?

How much does the average rep make?

    What is the culture like?

I interviewed this this company with the national sales manager and manager, they're goofballs. They base your skills on corny interview questions. Awful, and a total waste of time. I don't understand how companies hire people like this in leadership positions.

Funny thing-the company does not have a national sales manager; just people who want to be

    Hello,

I've worked at TEI for over 10 years, and I'm happy to answer questions. I don't know everything, but I have a pretty good idea about most things that are happening.

I have full faith in the safety and performance of our products. No product is going to be 100% sucessfull in every patient, but we have an extremely low complaint rate due to product failure. I also believe that the natural, non-denatured (nor crosslinked) fetal and neontal collagen is superior to other products insofar as the body's acceptance and remodeling of the scaffold. If you're interested, more info can be found here: http://www.teibio.com/TEI-Biologic-matrix.aspx .

I don't know how our compensation package compares to other biologic companies, as I am not in HR. I think the starting salaries for reps are between 60 and 70k, depending on the area. We also provide medical, dental, short and long-term disability, and Aflac supplemental insurance, and a 401(k) with a match. Reps also get a car allowance and commission. Last I heard, the commission is between 8 and 12 percent, depending on monthly sales as well as growth over time.

I imagine that the culture varies upon the region and how the regional managers handle the reps. My main focus has been to assist the reps with their sales while balancing the needs of the company in regards to good accounting practices and fda / regulatory requirements. Outside of those two concerns, I think the reps have a lot of latitude in the way that they go about their business.

There have been some terminations recently, followed by some nasty things posted here on Cafe Pharma. Please take such things with a grain of salt. As a previous poster mentioned, there is no national manager. My guess is that there are ex-employees or competitors hiding behind the anonymity of such posts.

    Any other questions?

I also work here and it's a joke. Constant screwing on the pay, unstable CEO, horrible management. I am gone once I get something else

I agree with the above. If you speak up in a meeting and the CEO does not agree you will get fired. Not to mention of you start to do well they will cap commissions. Not a good place to work at if you are looking for long term stability.

All governed by reimbursement and unfortunately there are much less expensive options out there.

No pulse here. I don't think any of us work more than one day a week. They just want to have a large volume of representative so it looks more appealing to a buyer. I will collect a paycheck until then.

I don't think that's a fair assessment. We have plenty of reps who do work really hard, a few reps who are scabs, such as yourself, and the rest fall into the middle. Sounds typical of any group of people, I'd say.

I would not say I am a scab. I sell more than you.

RE: Chris Hass back at Synovis, WRONG!

I can tell you he is not back at Synovis. Whomever said that he is a liar and should be ashamed for posting information that is faults. Cafepharma has been advised of your fraudulent statement and they will likely be monitoring you messages. Speak the truth as you are doing a disservice to your fellow sales professionals.

Another man or should I say woman overboard... It's a shame this company cannot maintain sales management and newly acquired reps are second guessing their decision to join this company! It's a Damn shame because the products are really good!
