National Sales Meeting Takeaways

Did anyone take away positive information from the National Sales Meeting that will help them to promote our products out in the field?

 

I did. I realized that I better start looking for another job.

 

Well since you asked, I learned that our new products are going to be important to my bonus. I learned the peel causes massive irritation in some patients. I learned I'm a realist and not a blinded robot singing the company songs! I learned since my breasts are not fake, I am a second class citizen. I learned how fake and phoney most of the RSM are because I thought it was just my RSM. I learned the meeting could have been done in 1.5 days not 4. I learned I should assume my quota is not achievable and to expect the shit to roll down hill this year much earlier than the last years. I learned those who flirit with Ted, Joe, and Tom get special treatment and attention. And I mean flirt, not hold professional conversations about important business issues. Sit too close, touch each other, smile and laugh while flinging the blond hair around. And the tight dresses and tops are just the most embarrassing thing about the company. That's what I learned. First good opportunity back into real pharma, I'm going to take it.

That is why I left after a few years. Company became full of politics and brown-nosers after Rex left. Wish they merge or are bought out so the stock finally is worth something

 

I don't think you should hold out for the stock being worth anything. The only way the stock gets paid out is if the company goes public and that is not going to happen any time soon. We don't have the fire power to make moves like that. And as you know the product line is full of bullshit products that don't work and get on the cycle in these offices. One year they like us, the next year they like them. Not a business model built to satisfy demanding wall street investors. Everybody knows this I hope.

 

No matter what there is a price to pay. Maybe not now, or next week, or three years. The universe ALWAYS makes an equal adjustment, good or bad. Bad deeds NEVER get over looked, payback is just around the corner. I know, I have been on both sides of this topic's fence. Lies eventually catch up with you.

 

Your little vignette sounds sort of like the 'Joe the plumber' story/tactic that the losing party tried last election - tired and shriveled up. Relax a little, life should be fun.

 

Well in addition to a huge pep rally its actually really a toilet paper conference-- cause after you brown nose and kiss so much management a#@--you'll need to have a huge backstock of TP to wipe your mouth!!

The truth is that people who can not communicate well verbally cheat. It is not about passion or anything else, people who cheat are cowards. These people will do anything to make themselves feel better and often blame their spouses when all they have to do is leave. The reason that the cheaters do not leave??? They fear being alone and have such low self esteem that they are unable to feel complete without a partner. This is sad, however very true!!! I am a single divorced woman. My husband I never cheated on one another. He had a bad temper and I could not live with his anger. I find it sad that so many people choose to cheat when all they have to do is leave. If you are so miserable, leave your marriage first, then stand on your own two feet for a while before making another mistake. I have to laugh at the people who cheat on their spouses and think that the person that they are cheating with is so perfect. The reality is that the relationship that the cheaters have with new person does not have to undergo the stress of every day life. Marriage is work! Marriage takes two people who work hard every day to make it work.
I have not remarried because I know that if I were to ever marry again, that person would have to be a perfect partner in every way. I am so picky!! I would never date a married man. What is the point??? I do not get People who cheat. To the people who are married- make it work!! Work hard every day to make your marriage work and do not ever think that there is someone out there who can fufill your unmet needs. If you can not get what you need from your spouse, communicate!!! Also, look in the mirror at yourselves to see what you can do to make your marriage work!!!

 

Your stupid comments and even more lame advice lost any value when you say to married people..."make it work". You clearly have no idea what you are talking about or you are so bitter about your own situation because you lost your spouse because YOU couldn't handle the "stress of everyday life". Sometimes, there is just nothing left to work on and no desire to do so on either side. Save the lecture and get on the treadmill and get yourself back together!

I did it. It was great and know I am undiscovered. I'm pretty sure cheating is something he wouldn't think twice about for himself but I still feel guilty. It's almost like I did it first because I knew eventually he will do it to me. This angers me in a way I don't understand because I'm so open to spicing up our sex life. I know I will leave him if he does it to me and now I've done it to him.
