Makes no difference what anybody thinks but BD. Kiss his ass, and slip in a little tongue now and then, = job security.

So I went to the LMI website and noticed they are hiring a QA/QC director what happened to IG? Did they decide to lay the dir off??? whats going on in the Quality organization??

Maybe they promoted IG so she can focus on terrorizing someone in the Director position. No matter what her status, she is remains an insignificant player. Any new hire at a meaningful level will have to get BD approval...good luck with that choice. Competent people from Quality keep leaving...DT recently.

Kieperts previous experience ruining a company prior to Lantheus ...

In July 2007, Point Therapeutics reported it had laid off chairman and CEO Donald Kiepert; CFO Richard Small; general counsel Michael Duffy; and chief scientific officer Barry Jones. At the time, a company spokeswoman said the firm was down to two full-time employees. The layoffs came after an independent panel advised to firm to stop its Phase 3 trials of drug talabostat as a treatment for advanced non-small cell lung cancer.

Point Therapeutics reported a net loss for 2006 of $29.3 million on revenue of $440,000.

History will repeat itself once again. Great track record Donny boy!

Even with the downturn of events, LMI has enough revenue coming in to run the site, pay everyone and still make a small profit. The rub is, a few years ago they took out all kinds of notes and bonds using the business as collateral to gateher up enough money to pay back Avista its $550M investment with 20% interest!! Now they owe these sucker investors their money... as interest, calling in or maturation of the notes & bonds. There's not enough money to go around. In the end they'll screw the investors (probably funds we all hold in our 401K) the same way they've been screwing employees. But hey, it's been a win for Avista...that's all that matters! As far as Avita's concerned, Donny boy did his job... again. Why do you think they assigned him to LMI after the failure of Point Theraputics? Avista likely recouped its money with interest in that case too. Welcome to the world of high and fast finance! It's how the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Advise to remaining employees...do not let your 401k accumulate very much money; make periodic withdrawals to roll over to your own IRA's. That is what I did my last two years there, under the advisement of my Financial Planner.
