Synergy Bafoon on Call

    Who was the moron on the call today that claimed that Bydureon sales really took off after Synergy hit the field.

    I'm not hating on Synergy.... Love my partner but Geez, that guy is a moron!

    I heard that too. Probably the same ass that said Legacy were horrible reps.

    OP - get a dictionary and look up the word "bafoon". HINT: it can be found under "b-U-f", not "b-A-f". BTW, you look stupid trying to call someone out when you can't even spell the derisive word that you are using to do so. I'd personally like to high-five you in the face.

    Tough guy here must be the same jackass that tried to exaggerate his value to the BMS/AZ integration team.

    Get a clue.... There's a reason you were hired on contract & not direct.

    Contract reps have more possibilities. We already have a contract with BMS and AZ so they trust us and we are way cheaper than you. They will roll over our contract and lay you off!

    ..... Riiiight. This makes so much sense considering they just spent $7bill. Of course they'd start going the cheap route now & forsake the experience & relationships of the direct sales force.

    Why can't we all get along?

    There's no need for division here or trouble-makers (including the OP & the Synergy rep on the call).

    I love my Synergy partner & hope we work together @ BMS.

    Trying to position yourself at another's expense or causing derision is weak & pathetic.

    You know what I find funny.... Is that the Amylin reps make 25K more than the contract reps but have not shown they are better in any way. The legacy reps have a smaller quota then the contract reps. It's like the r***** Jake felt bad and said you are really not good sales people so we will give you more money and not expect to much out of you. I hope you all saved your cash, because the free ride is over you all may have to SELL.

    Strange outlook considering that over 80% of Bydureon volume has been written by prescribers that Legacy reps have been calling on for years.

    Synergy was hired to get the word out to lower tiered writers. That's a hard job to be sure but I wouldn't diminish the effectiveness of those long standing relationships and market knowledge.

    You will always get paid more for what you know than what you do.... Regardless of the industry.

    Sorry to say, but Synergy folks will be let go at the end of the year (at the latest). BMS will not renew the option for the second year. Also, the Symlin specialty force will be gone as well. These two branches of the Amylin Team are too young, and haven't produced much fruit. Unfortunately for Synergy and Symlin specialty, they came into the game way to late, and haven't really grasped the disease state or what these drugs do (MOA). I know they may not like what I say, and will no doubt say I'm wrong. Nonetheless, they don't fit the BMS game plan, and they will be let go. Sorry! Legacy is most safe. However, there will be a cut in their numbers as well. An assessment will take place to see who stays on that team. Management...DM's, RD's, and up are all gone. RAM's might as well quit now.

    I will not say your wrong but I will say your a fucking r*****, to think that an old sales force like amylin will be kept. The sales force make way to much base salary for the numbers that they put up. It is funny that you mention grasp the "disease state" that is your old balls approach we are sales people and not educators. The numbers only went up after the senergy people were added. I don't care if BMS let's me go, at least I don't have to see the legacy people walking around like they are really good sales people. If legacy reps are rolled over great, after they get cut they can file for medicare, so its a win win.
