I interviewed with Amylin/InVentiv, got the Job, started (didn't quit my current job ) had a conf call on that Monday afternoon with DM, took the first on-line test.... Quit on Tuesday!!! Thank god I didnt give my notice... This company is a fucking joke!!! Don't u all see... Your done!!! You will have no jobs in about 3 weeks!!! Smartin up!!! You might as wll take all your samples, books and detail pieces and if you live in the northeast, save them..... Use them as firewood when the winter comes!!! I'm tellin ya all reps.... You are all done!!!! BMS and AZ will clean house..... Just wait!!!
Curious....What happened that made you quit the next day and feel as though all the jobs will be gone? You obviously did not feel that way when you accepted the position.
They won't disrupt a launch that way after paying such a high price for the products. Legacy jobs should be solid until 2013. Synergy might get the axe though. No other reason to hire contract reps...
so if bms keeps the legacy reps they do not get the 15k and the synergy reps who get cut will get the 15k? i guess it pays to be a synergy rep b/c if bms lets a legacy rep go in 2013, you don't get the 15k. you get a bms severance and your years at amylin don't matter anymore
I have been in the diabetic market for about 5yrs... While I actually believe ByDureon is a blockbuster drug... I think the marketing and the launch was shitty to say the least!!! Come on, let's be honest, it's a fuckin dog out there!!! Novo is kilin ya out there!!! No, I dont work for Novo, I actually work for Merck! I looked at the company structure, and knew it was going to get bought out!! The writing was on the wall!!! I also read a lot of articles, reports, etc.... Everyone should of known after BMS first offer was rejected..... Come on people!!!! I worked for Pharmacia years back and when Pfizer took us over..... We were all done.... It was a shitty feeling! I know some of you say "well, I'm selling a shit load of it and my numbers are good" what are you comparing that too??? Heck, you sell 5 units and you started with 0.... U have a 500% growth.... You think that's good???? Now, you start with a territory that has a base of 200 units a qtr, you grow it by 10 units.... You didnt grow it by much at all!!! And do you really think everyone is going to get 15k???? Lol...lol...lol... It will NEVER happen!!!! Novo is kicking the shit out of u!!!! Why do u think that is????
