No body in customer service knows anything, all they do all day is eat ....and fart ...elvins is laughing her way through her job....you know the kind of nervous laugh!!! you say good morning she laugh, you say goodnight she laugh....she is totally clueless !! a soft word to describe her incompetence. They don't want good leadership at teleflex, anybody with brains is a treat they are let go as not being a fit.....if they don't leave first....

teleflex has no core.....no value, they do not respect the humain rights they lack professionalism. only douche bags works there. that is it that is all.

Sounds like you deserved to get the boot. Congratulations for getting thrown out of one of the worst medical companies, you must be a serious piece of work. Buh-bye!

Two posts written by the same idiot 22 minutes apart. Get a life. These posts only prove that you can look forward to a long period of unemployment.

Surprised you lasted 4 weeks. After reading this mind numbing post forgive us for wondering how you were even hired in the first place?

Is Jim still running around Teleflex acting like his shit doesn't stink, as if he's the smartest guy around? It must suck to be him knowing he has become an exact copy of Bill Reynolds....the guy he hated so much.

Yes, he is still here. Unfortunately. We refer to him as Bill Jr. The thing that we have all discovered about Jim is that you just shake your head while he is blabbering on and hope he goes away soon, he isn't close to smart or strategic so he is like a wind up toy....a lot of noise for a short time and then forgotten

Whatever happened to Bill anyway, did he land in a new role with another company?

Not sure about Bill but stories are circulating in RTP that Stevens, Schellenberg and Romero are getting canned in the very near future. TFX wants to hire one GM in Canada to direct everything including sales, marketing and operations. All about cutting costs.

Teleflex is a low paying wanna be company especially in vascular access. At best #4 player in the market in vascular access.

Sales senior leadership in the vascular division is completely unexperienced and lacking any clue of people skills. 3 vp of sales last three years, less than 15% of reps made the variable comp the company is claiming in 2012.

No strong clinical data to substantiate new picc products just a bunch of brochure pictures from what they left at my hospital.
Run from this company, looks at the size of their competition and you will understand.

By the way, the word is inexperienced. Smarten up.

Always a true sign of an UNemployed or terminated, disgruntled low ranking rep using the weak veil of a clinician. First of all real clinicians don't have time to be cruising cafepharma so nice try with your hospital play.
Actually Teleflex Vascular is the spot many quite experienced medical device veterans are signing up to join. They've bolstered their already experienced sales organization with successful, tenured management and several new releases are on the way out the door within the next several months. As far as their "sizeable competitors" funny how they missed the entire antimicrobial demand in the market and still struggle to catch up.
We'll see ya in the market, count on it. Oh wait maybe not you are selling gloves or something similar now.....................

    Got to agree with this.

Bard Access is in a very vulnerable spot with yesterdays technology. They really have nowhere to go but DOWN. And honestly their arrogant sales tactics haven't exactly created a lot of positive relationships in many accounts (understatement). Bard's true advantage (other than GPO positioning) is that they are the gear almost all access nurses were originally trained to use.

Tough to say how deep that loyalty runs, my guess is not too deep. Just my .02 - I don't work for either company - but Bard Access appears, to me, to look more like prey than predator.

You clowns have been saying this for 10 years and you have accumulated a grand total of 5 market share points. In the meantime you have a monopoly on CVCs and have done absoultely nothing there. Keep slinging your Evolution oh wait you gave up on that already!

Agree with previous poster...Bard is ripe for mutiny from within and the customer base is beginning to feel the pressure of leveraged corporate compliance, not user compliance from a superior product line
