How is this division to work for? Good products etc?

Does anyone have some honest feedback here regarding compensation and work/life balance? Also, anything regarding clinician acceptance and competition would be great too. Thanks

 

In Japan, it is the sole wins of Olympus.
There is one reason.
In a common Japanese hospital, one endoscope system is used by the urology, surgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, and common use.
Therefore, if a deputy director might be a surgeon, it would determine automatically by the liking.
Since Olympus is a Japanese company, it is the best at how to sell.

Speaking individually, Olympus's breaking easily (heat weekness) and being hard to have it.
Image quality is standard and inferior to Karl-Storz.
Since Hi-Vision system has not been used, there is no qualification for my evaluating it.
Probably it is not needed at least by ENT.

I am performing an operation independently now at my clinic.
I am using Linvatec (Conmed) IM3300 now.
Although brightness of image quality is lower than Karl-Storz, it is good in general.
I am very much pleased with the strongness (heat & physically) and easly to have it.

But I would like to know evaluation of a striker988's image quality.
Would someone teach the comparative evaluation of IM3300 and 988?

 

ENT is a good place to be if you can sell capital. Lots of reps making great money and killing their quotas...

 

What's decent money and whatever that # is, are you prepared to deal with the most compliant driven organization in medical device? This company has phenomenal technology but just be careful what you sign up for. Compliance, ethics, micro-mgt....

I actually love the ENT division. We have come a long way over the past 5 years. Happy to be in this division over any other.

 

Compliance keeps you from losing your job and going to jail!

What is the base pay + commission structure for an ENT Territory Manager?

 

Gyrus acmi knew what the hell they were doing. This place has become a joke!

 

Olympus is a cheap ass company that keeps stealing more and more commission from their reps pockets. I resigned 2 weeks ago, and worked their for a long time putting up with their bullshit. The management is a joke, the culture is rude and unprofessional from the customers perspective. If I were you, I would look elsewhere brother.
This is honest information.
