    If you want the opinion of a guy who has been in medical device sales for over 20 years, and who has changed jobs a total of 6 times over that period of time, here it is. The BEST way to get a new sales job is by referral from an individual who knows you and who knows your skill level. Having said that, I have used both MedReps and GorillaMed to augment my choices in job searches, and have found both sites to be very helpful.

    I think MedReps used to be better than it is currently, and I actually favor Gorilla now. If I had to choose one site, I think I would choose Gorilla.

    Agreed. I'm an employer who has posted employment opportunities on both MedReps as well as GorillaMed.

    The job applicants who submitted resumes as a result of our job opportunities posted on MedReps were, for the most part, unqualified for the work offered.

    Although I have received fewer responses from job posts on GorillaMed, the job applicants have been much more qualified for the work offered.

    As the individual who has to sift through all the resumes submitted, as well as communicate with potential hires, I would rather review fewer resumes from qualified candidates, as opposed to having to review numerous resumes who are not a good fit for the work offered.

    As a disclaimer, I have no financial interest with either MedReps or GorillaMed.

    However, I do agree with the previous poster who stated on 3/18/2011 that "The navigation is not user friendly" on GorillaMed.

    Despite the fact the navigation is more user friendly on MedReps, I will not waste my time seeking employees on MedReps. Plus, the membership rates on GorillaMed are quite reasonable, when compared to the exorbitant membership rates charged by MedReps.

    Don`t call those guys chumps.. They are actually Larry Shapiro and his company putting the same shit advertisements out to saturate particular markets with the same tired job postings. Why do you do that Larry? Just wondering/

    Their ethics are questionable. They will tell you what you want to hear to place you. I wouldn't trust anything they say. I know multiple people that have had bad experiences with them with varying companies

    Its hard to imagine a more disgusting recruiter than Steffin Kutzman. Psychopath might be a good description. Ever see a picture of him? Scary.

    Kutzman is a pos who actually is also a fucking limo driver! I had two offers, and didn't take the one he represented-prick tried to call the recruiter for the job I did accept and torpedo it. SCUMBAG.

    Sorry, but this is incorrect. He's a stand up guy. Jerry has placed myself and some friends in the past. He's very well connected and will not sugar coat things if that's what you perceive to be negative. I've also met him in person and can vouch for his character. I definitely would not lump Jerry into this conversation.

    x2 ....very unprofessional , told a rep from the company I was with that I was interviewing with McKesson before I pulled the trigger. I will never speak to home again. Ignored LinkedIn requester several times over the last few years as well. Stay away from this guy
