Vedolizumab

Interested to see what CPers think of it. Seems quite promising to me, but I am unsure about its route of admin. Feel that could be a hindrance on potential revenue. It's side effects, however, and efficacy do seem very promising. With market authorization and growing enthusiasm for it, I wonder if it will be a blockbuster.

 

Why do you care? You won't be selling it. Takeda will be launching a GI specialty sales force to sell this. You guys stick to cancer, we'll stick to selling the GI drugs. Got it?

 

Alright relax. Just wondering about it cause it looks like a pretty awesome drug.

 

Please don't respond to the Takeda reps (I am one of them). You can tell how good it is to work at mill by the lack of posting on CP. I hope they allow Takeda reps to sell in the oncology field and I can leave the shitheads at Tapekada.

Sad thing is, very few of Takeda reps will get to sell this as they already told us they will hire reps with experience in CD.

 

I noticed that actually with the plethora of hiring. I was surprised that they didn't look in-house for the marketing director for the medicine, but went to public postings. I guess it has a lot of potential so that's why they are doing it?? Not too sure. Nice to see not everyone is a complete douche bag.
