How large is the acute sales force these days? How many reps have left since Jan 2013?

70 territories officially I think. A quick check of the open territories on the website usually shows 6 to 8 unfilled. Some of those for quite some time now.
I know of 2 who have left since Jan and I know of at least 2 more in the final stages (offers in hand).

There are 60 US acute care reps. Target to hire an additional 30 reps for blood management. About 12 so far. Three Area VPs. About 55 reps outside the US. Several distributors OUS as well. About 100 US alt site reps.

I'm assuming you're from Covidien, so let's talk turkey. What else do you need to know? Root? Iris? iSpO2? I know them all. MR Dirt is ready to deal the goods.

Many have left and many more are looking. A couple more are out the door next month. talk with any recruiter out there. They will tell you they have multiple resumes from Masimo on their desks

I've had a recruiter tell me "you don't need to explain why you're leaving Masimo".
I also work with our OEM partner reps often in the field. They ask about the mass migration from Masimo saying that the technology looks cool. Why does Masimo treat their people so poorly? I guess that's the real million-dollar question.

More people out soon. I hope they remember us when they make it to the outside. My first parole hearing is in a week. I hope I can get out as well

four of the top ten reps left in the last two months. Plus a few more that were at Masimo less then two years

The turnover mentioned in this thread is no joke. I'm not a sales rep, but I can vouch there is a high turnover rate at Irvine HQ.

There's lots of kool-aid drinking and fear-mongering going on here. There is no work-life balance. Every department is severely understaffed, thus things are half-assed and regulations are skirted.

Halb, halb, halb. Doesn't change the facts of what was posted. Your level of amusement doesn't change the pertinence of the info.

It's high always has been high. I don't work for a competitor, everyone on this site thinks the negative info is coming from Covidien reps, it's not. Most of us were former employees or current employees that saw their BS first hand. Bottom line find another company that won't work you to death!!
