I just got a call about a sales position and wanted to see what the realistic income potential is. What is a realistic base, yearly commiss, and perks? I never believe what these recruiters, and even some sales managers( Branch Managers) say. Thanks in advance. Smart A@@ Comments also welcome as I know how this board works!
Starting out base is $50k - $65k. Comm maybe $15,000 on base plan. After 2-3 years you go off base and are 1099. Then you make more comission but then all expenses are yours. Not perks except discount on toothpaste, mouthwash and dental floss. You may even get some free dental work from a customer. If you hustle, you might win a contest. Thats about it.
Why do you guys work for so little? I'm out for looking into the dental field. The pay is garbage across the board at every company
"Why do you guys work for so little?" You get what you pay for. Geniuses are not recruited. Remember who you are calling on. Dumb Dora and Harvey two-by-two, looking for a Free Lunch. If you could teach a wino to reliably make a windsor knot the whole sales space could be turned on its head.
