Well the day is finally coming. It's going to be a bloodbath this time. Get your résumé ready and find another job before the hatchet comes down on you.

Nobody is safe and numbers are not a guarantee of employment.

It's going to correspond with the 7 year anniversary of no new product launches in the DH and RH divisions.

Joanne is under the gun and that is why Amat was asked to hit the road. Falk on one of the business shows said he was not pleased with the performance of the healthcare sector. Reorg is the answer when things aren't going well and they take it out on the field sales, history bears this out. They believe since the product lines are stall and are in the maintence mode, why do they need a duplication of reps going to a hospital. Price is king and it doesn't take a sales pro to address that criteria.

Good old Mr. Tom Faulk. He looked just so thrill to be at our National Sales Meeting in
Las Vegas. We somehow all managed to put on a face that we were just so excited to be there. Not many people were thrilled. We all managed to suck it up and put on a happy face. Tom and Joanne were totally unconnected and disengaged. What a disappointment.

Not putting them down, they are both nice people but should have tried to pretend that they were happy to be there.

No growth, isn't that your job as a salesperson? Ok brother, bring it on. No new products, back orders, quality issues. BLAH BLAH BLAH

Although not ideal, a good salesperson is able to navigate through this shit. Yes, we have been handed a load of shit, I'll give you that. Great sales people navigate through this.

Go find another job. I'm sure an unemployed rep would take your job in a day.

Its not going to be Device...the supply people better be updating resumes. Device is the golden child right now, supply is struggling big time with too many people.

Well then why are half of the device reps on a PIP right now? Reps that were over quota in 2012 and ONLY sitting @ 97% to plan thru March. RMs are also being micro managed like crazy, in the field with the reps every week. Unless you made Club for the last two years and are over 100% now, I'd be interviewing my ass off!

Half the sales force on a PIP? Um..so what you are saing is that 22 of the 44 DH reps are on PIPS? Stop your bullshit. You must be one of that half! LOL

Us old timers may remember when there were just about a dozen DH and RH specialist covering West, Central and East. With no new products in years and none on the horizon, that's where I see us going. Which means no need for 90 device reps.

Twice in the past 10 years VAP and DH were in the bag of one specialist. That's were devices is going (again) - 40+ people with overlapping geographies out the door.

You device people just don't get it. Device sales and profit are killing it right now compared to supply. They are not going to upset that apple cart. SUPPLY is several MILLION dollars behind, product margins eroding, they are going to be managing that business DOWN the next few years while making investments in device. You guys no nothing about our business. If I was a supply rep I would be nervous. If I had to pick one of the device bags to be nervous about it would be RH. DH is safe because of the amount of profit those products bring in.

    Lesson is over.

Oh, and another thing, look at the size of your territory (dollar size). If your territory is significantly less than everyone else's, especially those around you...be concerned.

    manager

Every time I talk to my boss there is a dog barking. He does nothing, is at home most of the time, can bs with the very best about the business, has V fooled and V loves him we do not get it. It is a shame I can't take this much longer. Like most we are interviewing. Hopefully this is read and something is done.
