Glad I sold the rest of my crappy 400 shares last week for .65 cents. Beats the 7 cents it's worth today and nothing tomorrow when it's pulled of the exchange. Good luck folks!

original sales force was given options at about $12 or so? What a joke.

Well when the company start to ration TP you will have something to use.

The shareholders are the ones who really got hurt. Options are worthless until you can exercise them. Think how badly you would feel if you paid $12 per share.

you should have done due diligence. That's why many reps left within the first few months of launch. Good drug, but population was way too small, they overestimated market, and price was accordingly lower than it should have been for orphan drug. Rule #1 with a new drug: always make sure that the insurqnce companies are on board BEFORE hand, as they are the ultimate consumer. Sorry for your losses.

With all due respect, reps quit other jobs to join sav, and many of them lost their incomes with this fiasco. You at least had some money to take a risk with. I'm sure you likely have other investments as well. The sav employees and reps lost a whole lot more than $12 a share, they lost their jobs completely.

This is very accurate. The powers that be did a very por job of preparing for the launch of this sorry drug.

Not so fast there! The BK court requires Savient to pay salaries, commissions and bonuses in order to maintain pegloticase availability for the patients that need it. Since it is likely that the acquirer (if it is US WorldMeds) will not have in place a rheumatology sales force, they might take on those of us who are producing well. The moral of the story is that giving it your all in these circumstances may be worth more than ever before. Good luck to all!

The above post could very well be the funniest post ever of CP!! You were joking, right?

Good bye everyone. What a screwy ride this was. So glad I barely worked for the past 11 months. I consider it my severance.
