CMS released the proposed 2014 fee schedule on Wed Night - Happy Thanksgiving People! Pathology will not be reimbursed separately in Outpatient Hospital Procedures or Surgery Center Procedures. Instead there will be a bundled payment included in the facility fee.
Where is there to look? Quest and Labcorp are out buying other labs, and they're not doing that great themselves.
