What a long strange trip it's been.

and Hellloooo Crealta, who will likely be bought out by big pharma.

    Wow....Crealta or cretins I can't decide.

    Lets see, the news was:

" Savient only sold about $33.6 million of pegloticase between its launch and June 30, compared to a $141 million tab for marketing and sales costs since the FDA approved the drug."

The cretins paid 120 million for a drug that made 34 million since launch. Go figure. PT Barnum said it best.

God speed to anyone left, the one or two needed for the transition will have an interesting ride. God help the buyers.

The Krystexxa launch was Feb 2011 and Savient sold $34MM worth of drug in roughly 3 years, or $11MM a year. At that rate Crealta will need 10 years to recover the purchase price of $120MM. Sounds like a crack team. They are all ex-Actient people.

I am guessing the new company name will be "ancient cretins"

Where did you get your MBA? Creighton Barrel? Why do you average historical sales when the current run rate is closer to $30 million per year -- and climbing? The future is ahead!

The need is great, the profit margin is good. Let's sell so much in December that we get to keep our jobs!
    Happy New Year

    Good luck with that.

How much drug product is left and when does it expire? How and where will Crealta make another batch?

$30mm at $10,000 per vial is 3,000 vials. The last 10Q showed only $1.5MM in finished goods.

It is good to have a dream.

Why in the world would you want to keep your job selling this turd? Are you so slack that you can't overcome the inertia and find a decent company to sell for? Are your sales prospects so poor that you have no other options? Why, do tell...why do you stay?

Maybe the "decent company to sell for" is called Crealta ...
