what is the culture like? is it just another party company? what about stability? Merritt increases? is it very cliqueish? stress-free or cut-throat?
Expect: 1. Unprofessional Management - My manager gossips about the entire district and peers on ride alongs, and little does the manager know, the district tells each other what he/she says about each other. Great motivation and leadership (sarcasm). I don't engage, I try to change the subject but this manager can't stop them self from selling out the team. I have NEVER in my career encountered this kind of behavior from a "professional" manager. 2. Your bonus will not be accurate - highway robbery, track your P&L expenses and do the math. They get away with grossly fudging the numbers because they are privately owned. If you run into a stock held pharma competitor, ask them to share their RX data with you and you will see the difference in RX reporting (not in your favor). 3. Amateur Pharma Company - Binosto Launch to say the least 4. Cheap - They pay very little, over work you, little pay increases (if any), and if you are hired into a territory that is negative, good luck getting out of the black hole. Mission waste their money on ineffective resources such as apricot (prior authorization program). 5. Career Growth- little to no career growth within the company and that is if you are interested in moving up and rolling in the mud. Mission like many pharma companies implements strategies that sound good in theory however the reality (where the reps work), it's a waste of time, money, and resources! Mission has a high turnover rate... if you don't have pharma experience, bypass pharma for medical device sales where you are treated like an adult.
Is a salary of 85,000 unreasonable here? Please be honest. I currently make much more but my territory is a nightmare. A small Mission territory opened in my area. I won't apply unless it is worth at least this. I appreciate your answers. I know I can do the leg work and find out myself but based on what I have read here that might not be worth the time.
The kids they hire right out of college get paid 40K-45K and people with experience 50K-55K. The highest I have heard was 60K. Little to no raises each year.
they have reps detail 5-6 products at a time and change the decks.. it is a privately held company. good luck trying to ascertain sales numbers. they try to spin that since it's a small privately held company they are superior to big pharma.. nothing impressive at all about this company..
