    Hi All,

Here it is plain and simple.....I don't know everything, but I do know a little bit (insider). First of all to all the people who think Actavis is going to lay off their current rep and replace them with a Forest Rep it's against their company internal policy. No Actavis rep no matter how bad their sales numbers will be laid off so a Forest rep can replace them.

All of you should start looking for jobs now Actavis is not going to retain any of you I'm sorry to announce this. Yes I am not the CEO lol, so maybe there is a 1% chance I'm wrong, but we will continue to purchase pharma companies and lay off.

To clear something up some posts on here say Actavis retained some WC sales reps and corporate people let me be clear 100% of the 725 Warner Chilcott field sales were let go and everyone at the Rockaway corporate WC office in NJ were laid off. There are a couple of sales reps from WC but they left the company way before we bought them, so they don't count.

My point is this, in our industry it's one of the most regulated in the country and things change fast. Yes Actavis and all your Forest managers will say "guys watch your call times and have high call activity, Actavis is looking at sales numbers and wants the best people" It's all BS we said the same thing to WC reps and we will say the same thing to the 2 companies we have identified as takeover ready in the next 24-36 months.

You can reply to this post as much as you want, but no rep will have a job here. Actavis has very good reps and we will keep all of them. I wish you F reps all the best and hope you find good jobs it just wont be here.

As for the timing to all of this I don't have all the data, but internal estimation is Forest reps will 100% be let go before Fall 2014 quote me on that.

    Good Luck

I totally believe you. I also think few, if any, of the corporate people will be kept.

I am sorry, but I just had to post that. I have been in pharma for a while now started as a field sales rep and then moved into home office roles marketing and such. This industry is full of liars and people who have no back bone. I am far from perfect myself, but FRX reps and home office need to know there is not a job on the other side at Actavis we just have to say and do certain things because of corporate counsel.

P.S. you are smart to believe me hope everything will be ok for you :)

Since you are 99% sure no FRX reps will be retained then you will have no problem posting your name and number when half of Forest gets retained right? When we find out i will call you to figure out how that 1% happened....Im willing to post my name and number if your 99% happens. You can call and confirm.. Im willing to be publiclly embarrassed. U in?

    PS- in or out?

You guys just prove how dumb Forest reps really are! No wonder I've been in the top 25% for my entire Forest career. It's not hard when I'm competing with fools like all of you. While all of you bust your butts trying to perform to keep your job, I will be interviewing & looking to get off this sinking ship. Why would you believe any of the BS that our jobs are safe? They're lying to us all everyday. Do you honestly believe that people who perform now will be ok? So stupid!
I know people think now that Pharmacare is going to be learning & selling Fetzima, their jobs are safe? "Why would they give us a new med to train on if that weren't the case?" Business as usual, right? Keep telling yourself that you're safe. Good riddance!

Your post is not quite accurate. The hospital division will be kept.

The facts about the WC buyout are of course accurate. The only problem is that you and many others are using that transaction and other traditional pharma to pharma transactions as your baseline to what will happen here. The size and scale and nature of this deal compared to th WC deal is not even close. And you can't use a pharma to pharma as a reference point because that's not what this is. Look at the product lineup, its basic math. The new company will need at least 2500 reps at a minimum (and I am including the 750 already at Actavis). This is a fact-- now the company could get those reps either from Forest or hire 2000 new sales reps, and I don't care are how cheap you are, that is just not good business, especially with zero existing presence in CNS. So to the extremist out there-- get a grip and stop trying to compare this. Just look at the facts. In the new company, we can probably get rid of 1500 reps of the current combined sales force.
Here's the other thing to consider: there's a good chance Brent will be the CEO of the new company. Bill Meury will probably also lead the entire sales force. Mark my words on this. If that happens, we know he will have no problems making cuts-- but if you think he cares if those cuts come from just existing Forest and not Actavis people, you're crazy.

How can anybody guarantee they'll keep hospital? Who's to say they're not going to sell off the Anti-infectives division? Until they file the NDA for the new AB coming, there's no guarantee our division is safe. Anti-infectives was also left off the integration letter...by mistake my ass! People who come up with those documents don't make those kinds of mistakes.

It's a tactic they did on purpose in order to cause fear and uncertainty to get people to leave so they don't have to pay severance and lay them off. They need to thin out the sales force so they purposely left the other products out in an effort to cause fear and people to look for other jobs and leave. It's a shady business tactic.

WRONG! Nobody cares about what you're trained on or your results! Actavis knows forest has bs baselines & segments & the results don't mean ANYTHING! Does your territory generate a ton of rxs? If so maybe you have a shot at staying. Ever been written up for a compliance violation? If so YOURE OUT OKAY? No what if or it wasn't my fault...you're out & you're probably not getting any severance. Some of us are trying to send a wake up call here. Hello??? Anyone??? Bueller???

When most (if not all) Forest commercial employees get the ax, don't come on here complaining that you had no warning. You should already be interviewing for the few jobs that are out there, because you won't have one at Actavis. Actavis will get rid of everyone and go through the expense of hiring new reps (far fewer than you expect) in order to have their people and not people trained in the Forest model.
