Core Device is the most stable, most reps make $115k to $125k at plan. Bankers hours for the most part, no nights or weekends. Old products, but good products, still grow a little year over year. Not a bad place to be in this work environment right now.

Our Supply division is a little more volatile, just had a big restructuring (layoffs), products are all commodity with strong competition, very transactional sell with small profit margins. Would not want to get into this right now.

Pain Management is going through some big expansion right now, company sees a lot of upside with their products.

I-Flow, have no idea what it is like.

Old Halyard may not have dog squeeze to sell but did you see the new digs for Billy Bob Abernathy? I believe he out did Bernie Madoff and is only 15 minutes from his house in the CC South!!!

You are absolutely correct, this is one big Ponzi scheme and the "mucky mucks" will get the stock options and leave the chumps in the field left out to dry!!

Why don't you work hard and become a mucky muck. Being a chump is for suckers.

Oh dear, I feel totally out of the loop on this. Can someone fill me in? So I keep getting these E-mails from co-workers about KC spinning off to Halyard. Got that. But does this mean that all KC is going to stop producing all health care products? I find it hard to believe that we would totally split and not even leave our name on some of that stuff. I mean, hell, our VAP product is called KimVent. I'm very confused...and kind of scared. Help!

Nice try competitive troll. If you truly work for KC and don't know what is going on, you need to leave...now.

Every employee of KC healthcare is well versed on what is going on.

    Nice try!

A troll? What does that mean? Let me give you a little insight, son. Not everyone here is based in Roswell, so we're not all as informed as you are. KC happens to be a big company...

No wonder this place is flipping upside down. No one is helpful at all. Thanks for nothing, I'll just go ask my boss.

Eh, probably not a troll. Just an idiot. This place seems to be filled with them as is. And for the record, KC sucks at the whole "chain-of-information" bit. Doesn't surprise me at all that there are still folks who are out in space.

Surely you jest?? Abernathy and Bauer are more interested in furnishing their new multi million dollar condos in downtown Atlanta to be concerned with branding. Why not just call the entire line "Rope a Dope" since this POS of a company is definitely on the ropes

This company is a bad nightmare they are just trying to keep us around until the end. U have to notice the 20 + vets that destroyed this comp are as calm as can be.

So should I be updating my resume? I'm not sure if all of these posts are representative of overall truth, or if it's just one or two angry salesfolk with paranoia and a keyboard. Lot's of stupid s***t on here. Also, to the guy who was asking about Halyard, my understanding is that the entire healthcare business (with all of it's products) will be sold off and the KC name will cease to be on any of the products. I don't know, though, could be wrong. It seems the only people who really know are in the healthcare division. This company is ran by f'ckin clowns.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the info! I'm not in the healthcare division so I wasn't aware of any of this. What department are you from?

Yeah, this couldn't be more wrong. You're definitely not in healthcare. I'm not in healthcare either, but I've heard a few things. The business is not being "sold off" it's being "spun off". Billy Bob Abernathy will run the damn thing. Not sure about the whole Halyard name vs the KC name, though. It would be hard to imagine that KC wouldn't put our name somewhere on the products. Perhaps it'll say something like "Halyard KimVent: A Kimberly Clark Product". Who knows, just a guess. Rebranding the entirety of the product force would be a bitch.
