Look, I'm double dipping here, so if this job doesn't work for me, not a big deal (Don't waste your time replying they will figure me out, they won't. No one has for 6 years, so bite me). Here, though, are my predictions for this job. You will argu them, but in 12 months come back to this post cause I'll be right on.

    1) Sold in 12 months. There are people who were brought to this company that specialize in just this, trying to get a big pharma company to buy. Take a look and you'll figure out quick who they are and what companies they were with, and their inevitable outcome. It's true.

    2) Mass layoffs. With all the bad press about Zohydro, states trying to stop its approval, the risk of another Oxy, C3's that are easier and cheaper to write, this product will have little to no coverage. It will be a tough sell, even for your buddy docs who carried you at other jobs. Plus, the S Pen sucks. About 50% of the time it bruises the skin and doesn't inject properly. Neuro's hate it. It's got about as much business as it will ever get.

    3) Zogenix is a block buster!!! LOL, just kidding! See prediction 1 or 2.

The idea is great, and we all have docs who are excited about Zohydro. But the truth is coverage will be painfully tough. Read the articles online. The states, the national government and the communities don't want this. If you take it for what it is (a paycheck for a year) you will be fine. If you think you are going to cash in the stock and retire in 4 years, you are an idiot. Good luck.

Question. During my interview I asked the coverage of Zohydro, assuming it was '0" coverage, and was told by the Eastern Manager that 80% of lives would be covered. Is this true or was he not telling the truth?

Oh what a bad assumption. Some plans will have a six month Ndc block with new meds.

I am not being mean but urge you people to start looking for new jobs this year. The original post and person writing is brutally honest. Check out most recent news on cafepharma main page and CNN. Not gonna be pretty.

The original poster is a poser. Isn't that right, old lady whose name starts with an Sh.

Sure! Seeing as you are wrong. 1) My name doesn't start with and S (but you have 25 more chances to get it right), 2) You have no idea, whatsoever who I am, and 3) Your scare tactics are futile.

My name starts with a DD, as in double dip!

Yes, it starts with SH, as in: shhhhh, don't tell anyone I'm double dipping! Gonna get paid for doing nothing for a few months until they go belly up.... $$$ I feel like the guy in the commercial who wears the green $$$ suit and tries to get you to buy his book on how to get rich quick...

Double Dipping, is a reality that Pharma Companies uncertainty & lay offs have forced savvy reps to do. Just like each company has share holders that want to see long term: growth, profitability & sustainability; I'm my own share holder, looking out for the best long term strategy for my own household.

No sh#t, I once triple-dipped for about 6 months! Had 3 company cars to choose from each morning. It was huge money for awhile, but had to let one go as they launched a product that put me in same offices as one of my other jobs. Gotta be careful there. Always have to have each company with products that call on different specialists. No crossing paths, no problems.

We are in the process of calling all former Purdue, Teva, Mallinckrodt, and Endo representatives to verify employment status. Good luck to you. You will need it

    OP here,

Thank goodness I am still double dipping. Hate to say it, but looks like my "predictions" may come to fruition quicker than even I thought. Stock closed at $1.98 today. Ouch! Heads at corporate must be spinning. Hope some of you enjoyed the ride like me. Told you the stock options meant nothing. Layoffs soon. Start looking now or you'll be sorry. Not trying to be a jerk, but this was obvious from the start.

When everyone else is selling, it's time to buy. I just bought ZGNX for $1.80. A bunch of it. When ZGNX gets bought out, I'll laugh all the way to the bank.

It closed at $1.69 today. It was just under $5 in February. Are you sure you should be laughing?

So glad that I didn't get this position. Sounds like you guys are having major issues. Some of the upper management was pretty awful. Not calling out names, but the short guy was a total dick. SOB coughed on me the whole interview and gave me the flu. He had his mind made up before I even left to fly to Dallas. But karma has a way of making things right. Sorry for the reps though. I meet some really great people.
