please do not create another sales force----with a cost savings needed of 400-500 million just use the teams we already have. Combine the Cardio and Met teams

Or maybe give it to pulm...... Since it's a pulm med and reps are in there already....? Kinda makes more sense......

I disagree. This is a very important launch for the future of BI. We need to hire the best rep for the job. Whether they work for BI or not.

Have the managers been hired yet? Who will launch first BI or Intermune?

From what I have read, the Intermune product is the better product.

Don't believe what you read in the Motley Fool. Both products have merit.

And then maybe the pulm reps would actually have enough to do that they could stop taking bogus calls on primary care targets.

I've heard this drug has some fairly positive results. Why wouldn't we be happy to sell it?

I see the job posting for the IPF sales force. Can someone tell me what IPF stands for and what the products are? Is this a good company to work for?

International Pharmacy Foundation. You'd be working overseas.

Agree, another classic waste of resources. the last thing this company needs is more reps. While their at it here is crazy idea: give Pradaxa DVT to the PUD spec reps, while their dropping off Spiriva samples they can mention the new indication. I'm sure they can handle it..

Probably so....but they pay the big bucks to consulting firms that tell them what to do....mainly because of legal reasons and no balls.

I find it odd that people like to correct spelling errors and then bash them. Is it a sport?
