Hold on for over 12 months and not get the penalty. Should be being vested shares all along.

Well, that sums up the reason why taking advice from this website is worthless.
You don't get to hold onto them. Once the company is sold, so are your shares. You don't actually currently own them, they are essentially being held for you as a restricted stock until the company sells. Then you get to value of the sold stock, minus the initial purchase price and pay a short gains tax.
The only way around this is to pay cash for the stock and buy it from Entellus at the assumed asking price. Hold on to it for 366 days and sell it after the company sells. But, you usually don't get to keep the stock unless sometimes you're at an executive level. So, if it sells in less than 366 days, you get full value and still pay short gains tax.
So, my advice to you Mad Money, is your advice to me, difference is I know what I'm talking about-- Learn how taxes work. Also, take a few minutes to learn how stock works.
Hopefully you're not one of the 'real talent' reps sticking around.

    Is Entellus being bought?

As I stated before, I really hope you're not one of the 'real talent'. If so, you're shares are going to be worthless when the buying company sees how 'talented' Entellus' reps are.

You are correct when speaking about an acquisition.

This is totally spot on and in lockstep with the talent that left. It's so accurate that this post may be deleted just like the other posts.

It wasn't from Jim. The field doesn't feel that way either.

Hopefilly not! I wouldn't want to see any big company make a huge mistake loke J&J did with acclarebt. I don't think anyone would make a stupid move and buy Entellus. The same thing would happen. Good luck!!

At what point was it a great idea in your head to turn to cafepharma for medical protocol advice? Please punch yourself in the face and drink some more glue.

I agree with the other guy. You are an idiot for soliciting cafepharma for this type of question.

Interesting conversation. Who knows if we will get acquired but its probably better to be on our own. Another data point can come from searching for "is there real talent left at entellus" and its the top hit.

I can't wait for this year's Nathan's hotdog eating contest. I will post a picture of my medal and trophy as a LinkedIn quote. Winning all around.

Just spotted my Entellus rep in the ATL airport carring the doofus backpack.
