Some but not all divisions at CFN will be at risk. I feel confident my division is safe but feel sorry for others may be in jeopardy. Disappointing news for sure:(.

Not necessarily... It's gonna be business as usual for awhile. They still need to fill open territories.

BD will very quickly realize that there are some very incompetent people in middle management (MS) and show them the door

Ha! You think BD is filled with good Middle Management??? Mid Management at BD is completely incompetent. It will be the same shit show...

I was thinking the same thing. If you think the management is bad at CFN, you ain't seen nothing yet. BD is the place where people go to retire while still having a job. BD has a degree of competence and competitiveness that is a level below CFN.

PS - they don't pay as well as CFN either.

My condolences to all the CareFusion Reps. You guys (and gals) are a much higher caliber of med device reps. Use the transition period to blast your resume and find a new gig before they get a chance to assimilate you ..... its your only hope if you want to maintain professional decency, job fulfillment, and customer/self respect.

Good luck and RIP to all the great CF folks!

I had the misfortune to meet a VP for an interview, what a sack of douche nozzles! Arrogant carrot top! Looked like a clown dressed him too, it all worked out for the best for me, and now hopefully he gets his.

They dont pay well because reps dont do anything. They sell Syringes for crying out loud.... Its all GPO contracts and hospital bids (Tenders internationally via WHO). NO SALES SKILLS at all with ANY BD rep. If I were a CFN rep, I would look elsewhere.

To all former Care Fusion Reps who are now newly acquired BD reps, welcome to life on the "D List" of medical device sales. Take if from an insider, it's truly "devices lite" .... less selling and more senseless paperwork, tracking forms, marketing gimmicks, computer based tracking programs with overlapping purpose, goofy pet (paperwork) projects by "yes" men/women who want to be promoted, and antiquated/outdated corporate BS.

Now would be a good time to start taking anti-depressants.

As an insider, I second this.

Sad thing in these situations, is how the many good people at CF are the ones who will suffer.
The horrible sociopaths, sub human upper management are the ones who clean$$up in these deals.
