Makes sense since all indications are a sale of NPS is imminent. Why bother hiring people to only let them go in 3 months. Mixed feelings as I am glad stock is soaring but hate the fact that we will be interviewing for new jobs in the near future. Kinda makes the PDUFU date this week less important although I am sure Shire wants to see approval, as do we.

i just interviewed for a NJ territory and a friend of mine interviewed for another State....we have not heard anything..............asked to be moved forward at end of phone screen....but both were told other candidates to interview...............is this how they are handling the interviews or are they telling everyone the same and then making a final decision who moves forward - thanks - need this job

explosive sales opportunity, get in on the ground floor, clearly NPS has only blockbuster drugs, huge magnificent clinical benefit and reasonable prices every payor loves. join and make a major contribution to society.

I know that people in West, Mid West and Mid Atlantic are already set up for face to face interviews. Haven't heard a thing in the Southeast.

Not to mention that Firuta is launching a sales team of 50 reps (about 55% more reps then should be hired). He doesn't care that in 1.5 years they will be discussing layoffs. But some are so unhappy in their current situations that they don't care. Sad indicator of our industry.

Correct. Who would come to a company that launched a drug two years ago and half their sales force left because the promises made by the company didn't pan out? no bonuses after the first year.

Yes apply immediately. The FDA delay is good news. They want to spend more time reading about our drug because it is soooo good they just can't stop reading.

REMs will make this very difficult to sell plus any offer we get will be lower now with this news. Certainly not good any way you slice it. Best advice is to stay away

I have to agree. Hearing awful things about the device and the BLA was lukewarm at best. Too many other opportunities out there rather then mess up my resume here.

Agreed. If you have something stay do not come here! Word around company is they are looking hard at selling company and are not hiring any new employees for the foreseeable future.
