This company has only been around since 2009. 5 years. That's it. And soon it will be gone. And no one cares. Spinning off companies today is like flipping houses. I can't wait til I can retire.
Sadly you are correct. One look at your leadership team and even an outsider could tell they were in it for a quick buck.
Carefusion was spun off of Cardinal for one reason and one reason only- to be sold. There was no forward thinking other than make the books look good and make it appear that the company was profitable. it is nothing personal- just business. sadly, this is today's business model. Look around. This isn't the only company going through this.
Yeah. Baxter is spinning off Baxalta. In 5 years, Baxalta will be sold to Merck, just like Schering was.

Total incompentence; the most used phrase when trying to tell managers information or facts is "been there, done that" (heard it so often it was funny). Additionally there is such a lack of honesty and integrity that it is a good thing Carefusion was sold. I just hope BD is smart enough to weed these people out before they create problems with the FDA and others. I actally feels good to see the shoe on the other foot. I am certainly not new to corporate America (conversely I am now at an age that I can get out), however, in a highly competitive environment, MOST people realize that you are only as strong as your team. Tearing people apart and trying to make everyone else look bad so you look good - JUST DOESN'T WORK (start each day with "let the beatings begin"). Anyone with a small bit of intelligence knows that you cannot do that and get the success you are looking for. The strategy CareFusion and GE Healthcare uses doesn't work and it shows in their business success (and lack thereof). Empty headed "skill lacking" middle management glut prevents the innovation and creativity necessary for companies to be successful and competitive. There still are some out there; some companies do hire people with ethics and morals and can still be successful as well as pleasant to work at. Time for people to start taking care of their jobs and responsibilities while they are at work and stop working full time on creating their careers (as emphasized by companies such as CareFusion and GE) as "empty shallow zombies". This is why the US if falling behind. Thank goodness I am getting out of this rat race. Vital Signs was an incredibly innovative and low cost provider until GE put the nails in the coffin and CareFusion buried it. You worked hard but felt good at the end of the day.
