I personally believe Bydureon, is a good product. I have been a member of the human guinea pigs for testing for the past three years plus. But the company has to solve their delivery system. Basically it sucks. You have to mix it, then inject it. The mixing seem to be a hit and miss. If you follow the Doctors / companies instruction, it will not mix well, there seems to be a residue left over. So are we getting all the medication or not. I formed my own way mixing I am usually able to get most of it. The loading of the syringe if not held right you can and do loose some medication loading it from the bottle bad design easy fix though. The injection hurt like a Mother F___er, it stings and is sensative for a day or two after. Then there is the large needle you have to use,,, 24mm I believe, hence the cause of the hurt. And I usually have at least one blockage between visits (8 weeks between Dr appointments). And I am very careful to rate my injection site, and distances from the belly button. Then there are the nodes, I can usually find 5 in various sizes. And I have usually 2 to 3 bruises all the time in the area of injections. And yeah diarrhea still happens about 24 to 40 hours later,,, some time explosive usually 4 times out of 8 injections.

So if they the company can figure out a better way to inject folks.... be good... If they don't, most folks will not put up with the trouble,,, either go with regular Byttea or worse that other company........lol

First three weeks ok. Injection didn't hurt the third week because i found the right "spot".
Fourth week...disaster. When connecting the vial to the CHEAP plastic orange cap, the "needle" on the orange cap bent, effectively rendering it unusable. Used a sterile needle to try and bend the needle back straight. Attempted to reattach vial to orange cap. Had to "hold" it together. Attempted to mix solutions, medicine went everywhere. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

Pharmacist here. Someone left a demonstration Bydureon syringe at the pharmacy where I work. At first, I thought it was a tube of caulk. I helped Lilly introduce the first Humulin Pen, and it was not an easy sell in the beginning. I admire any sales rep who can sell any prescriber on the idea of using Bydureon.

My daddy knows what he's doing with Bydureon. When the time is right for us, doc's will begin to Rx.

When my daddy founded this company and named it after me, he brought many years of pharma experience to the table. He is very much above board,- a "hands on owner" and only strives for the best. Products and employees are his main concern for his company. He strives for success in everything he does!
    I love and respect him!

Laughing at the stupid trolls who don't realize that Amylin does not promote Bydureon, let alone not even exist anymore. Dumb ass.

Daddy's company will always be in our hearts. As a BMS employee (because of my daddy's influence), Bydureon will always be special.
My daddy has a lot of influence in our industry! He can call a lot of shots w/ BMS. He is well respected.

What should it cost? Maybe you can foot the bill to do the clinical studies and whatnot to take to the FDA, then you can charge something you think is appropriate.

Or don't take it. Find something more affordable.

don't worry there are a bunch of bottom feeder generic houses working on this drug...the name brand will be toast soon. The patent fights will be fun to watch.

LOL - if you bozos can pass PAI but who will be the fall guy for Kurt the CEO and his cronies? Take your pick - Hayward plant in front of concrete recycler with on-going micro contaminations, DS CMO AKA Chinese sweat shop CS Bio with the CALOSHA, fire dept and FDA after them and pill packing house Safecor who failed sterilization validation TWICE and taken out/removed from lame NDA.

Add to this Kurt touting 1-yr implant that does NOT exist on CNBC hosted by bozo Cramer.

And get this the Achilles heel - 1st year the patient needs THREE implants (3, 6 then 9 months), 3 placement kits, 3 insertion and 2 removal SURGERIES in the tunes of $20 to $30k! And biggest concern is well known (but hidden) and documented nausea side effect? So who will pay if the patient wants the damn implant removed due to nasty nausea?
