I was contacted about an opportunity here. What is the culture like?

It all comes back to your manager. Find out as much as you can before accepting

This is the place to be in pharma. You can spend your career here.

I also have an interview. Your recruiter will know the manager. I would suggest researching him to find out. Are you interviewing for Cologuard? Good luck!!

I'd pass on this opportunity. Company has unrealistic expectations. Many reps are looking to leave

Work/life balance here? Are you kidding? Expect constant emails, texts, conference calls etc. Speak up and have a target on your back.

I'm a woman and I hate chain texts all day long. I can imagine what the guys are thinking on my team.

What a bizarre/sexist thing to say about chain text messages.

What's bizarre? Enjoy being single or being miserable with your spouse if you don't understand why this is aggravating.

If you are new to sales and live in an area where the cost of living is low then this may be the place for you. If you need a lot of help and want to be micro managed -then this is for you.
If you are a seasoned rep - there are better jobs out there for more money, less work-it may not be the right fit for you and you should ask yourself why am I here? stay away

Make sure you get a manager who likes their family. If not watch out. Your life will be miserable during your 1 to 2 year tenure as a rep here

For starters "tenure" means "ten years" the mgrs always say "our more tenured reps.." Cracks me up.. Our reps that have been here for just a year, or rolled over in March haha.. Read up on correct terminology
